  1. Can’t wait for 3 spectacular Sproat innings tonight followed by a full on meltdown in the 4th or 5th.
  2. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2026/06/bucks-to-trade-giannis-antetokounmpo-to-heat.html#ref=home it’s happening guys. Giannis is headed to Miami.
  3. I mean they didn’t remember how to score in the 10th per se they just did the advancing the baserunners and productive outs thing correctly. Which was enough.
  4. Winning tonight is the second most important thing that happened. Woodruff was the first.
  5. Take the freaking bat off your shoulders Bauers. That was a strike. What are we even doing today?
  6. Someone above Pat Murphy in the Brewer organization needs to have a tough conversation about what Christian Yelich is now.
  7. Mitchell’s took the cake for sure. Frelick and Ortiz did nothing that would have guaranteed anything, either.
  8. It’s so disappointing to see Vaughn not in these lineups especially in such a hitters park. And yet Pratt sits for Ortiz.
  9. Or Mitchell will just chase Ball 4 and then take strike 3.
  10. Woodruff is really struggling with his command early,
  11. His average is down but his OBP is higher than last year, so he’s walking more too and hitting for more power. If he’s going to hit 25 HR and get on base 37% of the time I can live just fine with a 26% K rate.
  12. So if it’s the Celtics we’re likely getting Brown. What exactly is the point of this? To go from a bad team with a superstar player to a bad team with a star player?
  13. Hot take: the Brewers have 9 top 100 worthy prospects : Made, Pena, Jett, Pratt, Lara, Adams, Adamczewski, Fischer and Hardin.
  14. I think the long outings by Patrick are somewhat designed to keep him stretched out. I think they want to preserve the ability to start him or ask him for 4-5 innings in the middle of a game rather than just treat him like their other relievers.
  15. Supposedly Belgium not winning today is very good for the US but someone needs to explain it to me like I am 5.
  16. Call up Made and Fischer to Nashville or they’re never going to get to play again.
  17. Okay, but you are arguing that one player is just as good of a hitter from his platoon dominant side, as another hitter is from his non-platoon dominant side. That is not a super strong argument for Frelick as a player overall. It’s just saying that there isn’t a big difference when Vaughn comes to the plate with a bad R/R matchup than when Frelick comes up with the platoon advantage.
  18. In that case, he sucks, is total trash and should have been in Nashville by the end of April
  19. Well, be careful who you give away …. While I am by no means calling that a bad deal — Drew Rasmussen would sure look good in this rotation right now. I suppose both teams are probably happy with what they got out of that deal.
  20. Are prime Turang, Conteras, Miz, and Chourio just chopped liver?
  21. Lest things get taken way out of context like often occurs I am again by no means saying that Murphy sucks and shouldn’t be our manager. By and large I don’t really think there are any “special” managers and most just either win or lose 2-3 games during the course of a season and this can vary from season to season, Ned Yost won a World Series, presumably he was a very good manager that year. Would we all consider Ned Yost a very good manager in hindsight ? All I’m saying is that it’s far more organizational here and if they replaced Murphy with Rickie Weeks or whoever else tomorrow the beat is just going to go on and they are not going to suddenly devolve into an 85 win team.
  22. I’m not saying Counsell was “better” by any means but this is not a fair or apples to apples comparison when you’re talking about managers that took over their respective teams at very different times and when the organization was in a much different place.
