  1. I'm not very happy with the Brewers doing it either.
  2. Too many really bad ABs sandwiched around the good hard contact ABs.
  3. Rengifo looks like a right handed Eric Thames. Until you watch him bat and then it’s more like a right handed David Hamilton.
  4. Me too. It’s just the nature of the business. You eventually have to perform.
  5. What does everyone think of Eddys Leonard? His numbers this year are eye popping in Nashville - yet he doesn’t even crack our organizational top 30. Is he just likely a journeyman organizational filler on an unsustainable short burst, or is there MLB potential here?
  6. Given the situation, I would have been forgivable if the pitch was close. It wasn’t.
  7. Sanchez, man. Enough with the bad challenges this year.
  8. He was never higher than 5, but that was a pretty weak system after the first few. There was a reason we only got a rental reliever and a lottery ticket reliever for him.
  9. I agree with this too. I think some managers are a better for fit some cultures better than others. You’ve seen managers that can win a World Series in one place and last a season or two elsewhere before getting fired.
  10. That turned out to be a BIG overturned ball/strike call.
  11. I love Chourio, but the last two games have been hard on the eyes. Strikeouts in and of themselves aren’t overly concerning to me. Strikeouts where he’s consistently chasing pitches that are nowhere near the zone are a little concerning.
  12. I’m really glad for him that he got the big hit on Mothers’ Day, but it is getting really, really hard to justify Perkins being on this roster over Lara.
  13. Some pretty ugly ABs. Chourio is in full commit chase mode the last two games.
  14. This rotation could be stacked when we get Priester and Woodruff back. It could really be a domino effect because Patrick and Sprout could become full blown relievers where they would really be a great fit and that would really improve the pen.
  15. Great game, but Chourio, my goodness dude. These pitches aren’t even close. You’d have 2-3 walks today if you wanted them.
  16. And when Brice Turang was the same age Luis Lara is now, he had a .696 OPS in AAA ball. Sometimes young players get better.
  17. Well, he was kind of his own worst enemy in his last AB. He saw 6 pitches and not one was in the strike zone.
  18. The good news is, Rengifo stays hot and Canning gifted us an early 3-0 lead. The bad news is, Mitchell and Frelick still have no clue.
  19. Love Yeli, but the man is made out of tissue paper. Its not a promising sign that it was Sanchez, not Yelich, who was pinch hitting in the 9th yesterday.
  20. Last year he was 20 years old playing double A ball. Sometimes young players get better.
  21. I can understand more why Patrick to the bullpen has some legs. They’ve got to improve this pen.
