  1. Difference with OKC is that they’ve managed to do all this without completely mortgaging their future along the way.
  2. The Cowboys just send Brandon Aubrey out there for 63 yard field goals in the middle of the 3rd quarter like it’s nothing. It’s crazy.
  3. Giannis will get a say, but not the ultimate choice or final say. Milwaukee definitely wasn’t Lillard’s choice.
  4. Unfortunately this is going to happen. The writing is on the wall too much at this point. The Bucks failed Giannis and my concern is that same people who failed him are in charge of trading him. So I expect a poor return. This is going to be a sad day. I truly believe Giannis would have spent his entire career here if we could have continued to build around him well.
  5. Lol. You’re 2-10, down by 20, already fired your HC and on 4th and half a yard from the 40 you’re going to go up to the line and bark and take the delay and punt. Grow a pair.
  6. It is just never going to happen, there is too much subjectivity involved in the game for them to open up everything to review. I know some things seem so obvious and easy to fix but there is eventually going to be that one play that somehow straddles the line between “that IS conclusive” and “that LOOKS like it, but isn’t conclusive” and it’s going to be a big controversy. I understand the good intentions but I think the league learned the consequences of this kind of thing in that season where they opened up PI for review.
  7. I don’t think the Broncos are that good. I dunno. I know they’re 9-2 and that’s all that matters right now, I just don’t really see it. Not that we can’t lose to them but I don’t think it’s tougher than most other games on the schedule.
  8. Nah today has kind of sucked. Thursday was a fun one.
  9. I was told that Kevin O’Connell was the quarterback whisperer and that it doesn’t pay for them to pay Darnold when any other QB can just step in to that offense and do the same thing.
  10. I mean, they could restart the clock from 15:00 in the 1st and we still wouldn’t break 17 by the end of the game, so it’s whatever I guess.
  11. Not even going to review it? Sheesh.
  12. I don’t have a problem with the intentional grounding flag. I have a problem that the only reason they threw it is because Fleck threw a hissy fit.
  13. Yeah, 17 points is going to be plenty.
  14. No one: Luke Fickell: “Let’s hand the ball off from the opponents’ 34 on 3rd and 9 down by 10 and then punt.”
  15. Simmons, wow. You can’t throw that ball.
  16. And I was wrong. He was in. Wow.
  17. I had next to zero confidence about converting that 4th and goal.
  18. And that’s the ceiling, which is kind of the problem.
  19. Badly. I will be both sad and mad.
  20. I’m definitely not a member of the “bring back Adrian Griffin” club. But Khris Middleton is not the difference between this club being 30-13 and being a play-in tournament team. The best thing I can say about the Bucks of this era is that they did win a championship. So it was not all for nothing. But at this point, yeah. There’s really no path forward except to trade Giannis, take some major lumps in the next 5 years, invest entirely in a youth movement and hopefully by 2031 when you have 1sts again you’ve found a building block or two to start with.
  21. Haven’t looked at what their run blocking is but it has to be off the charts which I’m guessing is their big X factor. Swift and Monangai are nice but not JT and McCaffrey like they look like behind that line.
  22. I’m still not a big Caleb Williams guy. I think Jordan Love is hands down better and I think Love has his warts. The weapon are pretty legit, which is why I think it’s kind of alarming that Caleb is as inaccurate as he is. His mobility helps and I think Ben Johnson gets the most he can out of him.
  23. The irony is that the turning point for this team was when they fired Adrian Griffin. They were 30-13 at that point in the 2023 season. Really not that long ago. That was even with all the defensive issues and Giannis and Dame really not meshing. Not saying Griffin was the right guy, but Doc has come in and completely run this team into the ground.
  24. Well at least we can dream on hitting it big with all our upcoming lottery pi…. Oh, wait.
  25. The Bears are having a great game. I remain pretty confident that we will win 1-2 games against them.
