    Maybe the fans are more upset than the team. The Giants figure a soft tossing lefty hitting Fielder in ST will satisfy the fans so that the team doesn't have the pressure to "get revenge". Hopefully this is the end of the situation.

    Figures may have been officially exchanged a little over a week ago, but DM and Hart's agent have probably been talking all season. I doubt the exchanged number was much of a surprise to anyone.

    So on one hand this rotation isn't any good because there are no young pitchers to go along with our hitters. On the other hand, this rotation isn't any good because the two young pitchers haven't lived up to their potential. If Yo and Parra came into the majors pitching to their talent level like Braun and Fielder came into the majors hitting to their talent level, no one would be complaining about the other pitchers we have on staff.

    To keep Hall until Jan (in order to trade him to BOS), we would have had to keep Hall on the 40 man roster through the end of the season and the Rule-5 draft. Who would we have left off the roster to keep a spot open for Hall in the hopes that someone would trade for him?

    I got a new Twenty-Ten Brewers calendar today. JJ Hardy is the Brewer for September. OK, I get that. JJ was traded after the season. Maybe they obtained the pictures and had the calendar all set up before he was traded. I can accept that explanation. What I can not accept is that June's Brewer is Bill Hall. Seriously?!?     If you want to leave it open, make sure you charge at least one item to it every 6 months. Clark Howard said (iirc) that it only counts as good credit balancing if you use the card at least twice a year. I did this to a credit card company and had to actually call them several times to tell them to stop raising my limit on the card. I got a card with a different company and don't check the other one often.

    If we offered Cam arbitration, Cam might have accepted to spend another year here. I don't think DM had the budget to sign who he wanted to sign and also pay Cam's salary. I'm happy for Cam. I'm also happy I won't have to root against him in '10.

    I'm sure at least 1/3 of the US population has cheated on their SO, but that doesn't mean I'll look the other way when a high profile person does it.

    Drafted in June of his graduation, made his debut latter that summer or in AFL. That doesn't seem strange or outside a normal person's career. Also, maybe he skipped a year or two in school and graduated earlier.

    A Liquidation Expo is going on at the Wisconsin State Fair park this weekend. The SO and I were going to stop by tonight, but her mom heard they didn't really have any deals there. They advertise great deals like laptops for $149. I was looking to get a cheap laptop, and thought we would take a peak. Then I found out they charge $8 at the door just to look. Has anyone gone to these liquidation expos? Are they any good? Are there actual deals there, or no more so than what you can find at other stores?

    I can't help customers at my job who are under 21. I take vertical id's as long as the birth date says you are over 21. I'm in Wisconsin, but I've had other state ID's that had "Under 21" printed on them that I accepted. I would think a tourist destination like Vegas would be just as lenient.

    I would like to ask for non rap/hip-hop songs. 07 and 08 were unlistenable for me. 05 had good music. edit: Gerut's grand slam at Wrigley Field. This made his trade worth while. It would be cool to set it to his walk-up music.
