Just like people ignored the racism in this country in the 40's and 50's? Eventually right minded people will win out. My SO had a good question. What would this year look like if Hoffman was still a dominate closer? I would like to know if the Brewers will ever reward the fans and win a championship.
On Friday we came home to find out a shelf in the wall came out. All four mollies (sp?) came clean out at the same time. I have every bobblehead given away by the Brewers. 8 of the 11 on that shelf now have major damage and may not be repairable. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
I think I remember hearing that Sveum is working to give him more of a power swing. Sveum thought his problem was that he was trying to hit too many ground balls.
What's amazing is what I haven't seen. Out of all of the games I've seen in person, watched on TV, or listened to on radio, I've never seen a triple play or watched more than the final out of a no hitter.
I think it was what he used one day last year to play tribute to his son. Sunday was family day for the Brewers, with their wives and kids in attendance.
Everywhere I look, it says Parra's music is "I'm Coming". He also uses a different song. He uses it for both his warm ups and at bats along with "I'm Coming". It's an acoustic guitar opening to a rock song, but I don't know what the song is. Any help?
The ones I haven't forgotten about: ASG tie Moeller cycle Cuddyer cycle Bellhorn homers from both sides of the plate in the same inning Brewers come back down 9-0 to beat the Reds on a Bill (clap-clap clap-clap) Hall HR. I'm in RF. Counsells ball was heading foul. Half way there, it took a right turn and landed fair. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw. And Donald Driver just walked by me about 3 feet away.
Robin Yount won 2 GGs (I know GGs don't mean good defense), but set a franchise record that still stands for errors his rookie year. I'll take growing pains now if he'll be good when we get a pitching staff.
I've been a full season ticket holder averaging 60 games a year since and including 2002. I'll contend that the amount of losses I've seen is more than anyone else 30 or younger. I believe I'm 3-9 this year in person. I was planning a trip to Cin/Pit for this week. I'm glad I didn't go.
