  1. Well at least it's something new to talk about?
  2. Yes, Riley from Atlanta and Sano/Arraez from the Twins plus additional prospects.
  3. I agree and I think the Twins line up pretty well too. If either team gets Donaldson both would have some 3B that I hope Stearns would be interested in.
  4. One more reliever off the market -
  5. Per Jon Morosi, the Rangers are a good bet to sign Castellanos. The White Sox, Cubs and Giants have also shown interest.
  6. Yeah it kinda feels like once Donaldson signs, maybe the trade market will get going again.
  7. With the Nationals signing two infielders the past couple of days, I wonder if that means they are out of the running for Donaldson? That would leave the Twins and Braves if reports are true.
  8. 3 years, $24 million.
  9. Any interest in Braves 3B Austin Riley? If Atlanta signs Donaldson, maybe the Brewers and Braves could work something out involving Riley and some of their pitching prospects.
  10. Any chance we’re in on Will Harris? Per Mark Feinsand, Harris will be one of the next free agents to sign and is getting multi-year offers worth $6-7 million annually.
  11. I really like your Twins proposal and I think the Brewers and Twins match up pretty well when it comes to team needs, especially if the Twins end up getting Donaldson. I would even be willing to substitute Luis Arraez with Sano if the Twins didn’t want to give up Sano.
  12. With 4 years of control left, I just think a Hader trade is going to be difficult. The Brewers are going to be asking for the moon (as they should) and I don’t think a team is going to give that up for a reliever, even though Hader is the best in all of baseball. I’m leaning toward this doesn’t happen this offseason.
  13. A lot of these rumors on Twitter seem to be Yankees fans trying to speak a Hader trade into existence.
  14. Where in the world would Clint Frazier play? This may have made more sense before the García signing.
  15. Would love to get Arraez and Kirilloff from the Twins. You get your 3b of the future and a top 20 prospect in all of baseball.
  16. Could have been that the Brewers wanted McNeil and the Mets refused to include him so the deal fell apart.
  17. None of those trade proposals excite me too much except for maybe the Dodgers one. If those are really what we can expect from a Hader trade then I’d rather take my chances and keep him and hope he doesn’t regress or throw his arm out.
  18. How is Andujar’s health? I see he had shoulder surgery back in May and never returned.
  19. I wondered now that Betances went to the Mets if discussions between the Brewers and Yankees would really heat up. We’ll see what happens.
  20. Have the Twins been one of the teams linked to Hader? Anyway, I would be very happy with a Arraez and Kirilloff trade. Arraez doesn’t hit for much power but is an absolute on base machine. This guy has walked more than he’s struck out at every level he’s been including the majors. And Kirilloff is top 20 prospect who is close to the majors himself. If the Twins get Donaldson I would hope Stearns gets on the phone with Minnesota if he hasn’t talked with them already.
  21. If a trade were to ever happen with the Yankees, I think it would have to start with the Brewers being convinced that Andujar is completely healthy and ready to go. Then take it from there.
  22. I’m guessing Ryu ends up getting close to $90 million over 4 years.
  23. I’m guessing Ryu ends up getting close to $90 million over 4 years.
  24. Just seems inevitable that he’ll end up in Washington.
  25. Yeah that potential lineup would be just plain sick. Unfortunately, I think any trade for Arenado would start with Hiura.
