There was a lot of buzz around Fischer leading up to the start of the season (and rightfully so) but Pena has been the best Rattler so far. Kid is a stud.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Lara take over the Perkins role sooner rather than later.

Burke missed a 3rd homerun last night by about two feet. Smacked a loud double to deep CF. I think the guy is ready for Nashville.

Burke with another homerun. The boys from Biloxi have been a fun follow so far.

Yeah Atlanta has some really nice arms. They faced a tough arm last night in JR Ritchie and didn't fare too well.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned but omg with all of the walks. We must lead the league or be close in walks given up. It's driving me nuts.

Burke is just a massive dude. Not sure why they have him repeating AA but glad to see him pick up where he left off.

Luis Lara and Bishop Letson join BA's top 100 list -

McCalvy speculating that a pending physical is what is keeping Pratt out of the lineup this week and that Gasser not pitching this week is the Brewers managing workloads for some of their MLB-ready arms.

Still no Cooper Pratt in the lineup...

Lara provided pretty much all of the offense tonight for Nashville. Pretty ugly game other than that for the Sounds. Biloxi put up 14 runs on 16 hits in their exhibition game. Blake hit a HR.

Dinges and Fischer starting the year in Appleton is certainly a choice.
  13. wibadgers23
Strangest contract in Brewers history? I like Pratt as a prospect but did not see this coming in the slightest. Guessing we'll see him at some point this year.

Ashby's stuff is nasty but man he's just all over the place.
  15. wibadgers23
So either Sanchez or Contreras are hurt...

One of my favorite days of the year! Go Sounds!
  17. wibadgers23
Lots of runs given up by our starting pitchers this spring.

This is more of a comment than a question but here's hoping to a healthier 2026 down on the farm. 2025 felt like a nightmare of injuries pretty much all year. Thanks for the updates, @ARobsBrewCrew!

I'm not sure how that will work down in Nashville with Pratt playing SS every day. I assumed Pratt at SS, Jett at 2B and Lara in CF.

Fischer and Quero listed as two prospects who just missed Pipeline's top 100 prospect list. https://www.mlb.com/milb/news/players-who-just-missed-top-100-prospects-list-2026?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage

I'm guessing that's 18th in all of baseball for Keith Law?
  22. wibadgers23
The amount of really good infield prospects in our system is getting a little nuts. I have a feeling we'll be drafting some outfielders this year!
  23. wibadgers23
Was really hoping for Tong over Sproat. Oh well.
  24. wibadgers23
Not sure I like giving up two pitchers in the deal.
