  1. Deadline to sign this year is July 28, 5 p.m. ET.
  2. Will we have an official signing thread?
  3. If my math is correct, the Brewers will need to go 34-32 over the final 66 games in order to reach 90 wins. Seems very doable!
  4. This site has timed out on me more times in the last week than it has in the 20 years I've been on here. Anyway, really like what we did on day one, particularly the Fischer and Morrison picks.
  5. I'm in this camp as well although it would be extremely painful trading away a Made or Pena. We have such a deep system right now and draft picks galore coming up in a couple of days to help replenish the system a bit. If we trade Made or Pena, I'd assume we'd be getting back an MLB superstar with years of control, which I'd be totally fine with.
  6. The Nats can score some runs but their pitching is awful. Brewers need to score and score often in this series.
  7. I could see Doug Melvin trading for a rental like Bregman but this regime just doesn't operate like that. Plus, his salary is just too much for the Brewers.
  8. What would everyone think of this trade for Acuna Jr? They also listed proposals for Tampa and Seattle. Note that Acuna is signed for 3.5 more years. SS Jesus Made (No. 5), SS Luis Pena, OF Sal Frelick, RHP Logan Henderson, RHP Abner Uribe https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/45689613/mlb-2025-trade-deadline-proposal-offer-paul-skenes-ronald-acuna-jr-byron-buxton
  9. Looking at MLB Pipeline's 2011 rankings, our top prospects included guys like Mark Rogers, Wily Peralta, Kyle Heckathorn, Scooter Gennett, Amaury Rivas, etc. I'm assuming there had to be guys on the big league roster who would have headed to Seattle too. Would love to know the proposed package.
  10. Hardin looks good early on but Meccage got hammered and is out of the game already.
  11. This was just a gross loss. Offense appears to be struggling again and the bullpen has been just ok.
  12. I wouldn't mind going all out for a guy like Ramirez. We haven't really made a big, splashy trade since Yelich which was over 7 years ago. We certainly have the prospect depth to do it, not to mention a bunch of draft picks this year to help replenish the system.
  13. The Cubs offense is just too damn good. I don't see the Brewers keeping up. I think they get one of the wildcard spots though.
  14. I think it's almost a certainty that one of Quintana or Nestor gets traded.
  15. Gonna need to get more production out of Chourio, Contreras, and Hoskins if this team wants to go places. These guys just aren't doing enough at the top of the lineup.
  16. I’ve been following the minor leagues religiously for many years now and I have never seen this many injuries to top prospects. Hoping for the best for Pena.
  17. Are we not giving Lara enough love this season? I know I’m guilty of overlooking him but he’s had such a solid season and I believe he’s only 20 years old still.
  18. They should send Contreras to the IL until after the all-star break.
  19. Has this been the worst year as far as injuries go? I really can't remember a year with this many injuries to our prospects.
