    I said this earlier in the thread but it wouldn’t surprise me if they have Black following a similar trajectory as Mitchell did last year. Mitchell was promoted to AAA in early August and then to Milwaukee a few weeks later. Could we see the same for Black?

    Glad to see this series against Pensacola coming to an end for Biloxi. That team is TOUGH. Chourio stays hot though with a couple hits and an RBI.

    Not unpopular. I just don’t think the Brewers are going to do it. I do think he’ll be in Nashville shortly to finish out the year.

    Black with another day off is a little strange, especially since they’re facing a righty tonight. He just sat two nights ago.

    I could see the Rangers going hard after Burnes this offseason and they have some pretty good prospects in their system, particularly pitchers. Seems to be a good match.

    They’re facing a lefty tonight so could just be that but who knows. Black certainly is deserving of a promotion.

    Great. Last time Fox carried the game was Frelick’s debut and they cut to the Twins game in the 3rd inning.

    I don’t think BA and Schroeder do road games anymore and BA hardly does home games. It’s probably time BA just move on.

    As I recall, there were a number of promotions last year on or around August 2. So I would imagine any day now.

    Baez was removed from the game after he singled and stole a base. Cripes.

    Quite the debut for Pratt so far. He’s going to be a fast riser through the rankings.

    Quite the start for Lara. Doubled and scored in the top of the 1st and then threw a runner out at home in the bottom half.

    Agreed. This is not sustainable. At this rate, the bullpen will be spent well before season’s end.

    Probably Chourio with Wiemer in RF and Frelick in LF. Mitchell in there somewhere too.

    And this is exactly why we play so many close games. Just can’t score enough runs to put teams away.
