    Would love to see a little more power from Jadher Areinamo because the dude can flat out hit. A little underrated, imo.

    Yeah I understand the people management aspect to it but isn’t it just opening up a can of worms for Arnold? Should every Brewer be able to go ask Arnold if they’ll be traded and he has to give them a definitive answer? That really puts Arnold in an awkward situation if for some reason he ends up getting some outlandish trade offer for someone he already told wasn’t getting traded. I’m a huge Burnes fan but I don’t think he should have done that to Arnold and I don’t think Arnold should have answered him the way he did. Just my opinion.

    Maybe it’s just me but I find it a little strange that Burnes asked Arnold that question and that Arnold gave him a definitive answer. I mean, what if some team offered up some ridiculous package of players for Burnes or what if the Brewers went on an awful losing streak to close out July? Arnold should have just given Burnes the same answer he would have given the media had they asked the question. Just a weird situation.

    How do you add meaningful pieces to the offense without giving up significant prospects? Arnold has his work cut out for him.

    Black, Chourio, and Quero with two hits apiece but Biloxi’s comeback in the 9th comes up just short. Chourio and Black each with a homerun.

    I’m glad the guys are getting a much needed break but this week has been brutal with both the Brewers and minor leagues being off. Friday can’t come soon enough!

    It’s going to be an insane bidding war for Ohtani this offseason. I can only imagine the type of money that will be thrown around.

    Agreed. Yelich is the least of our concerns right now. Figuring out what to do with Burnes, Adames and Woodruff and when to trade them is going to be the big decision this organization is going to have to make over the next year or so.

    I think it’s about time to see what Di Turi can do in the ACL.

    Agreed, not happening. And I don’t think they’ll be big buyers either which is why this deadline will be a bit of a dud for the Brewers. Minor moves at best. Big moves in the offseason.

    Yeah I’m a big Frelick guy but that ranking is too high for him and Quero is too low. You could almost just flip flop them.

    No but I think he’s closer to overtaking Chourio than people think.

    Just turned 18-year old Juan Baez continues to rake in the ACL. Three more hits including a double and RBI today. I wonder if the Brewers will be aggressive with him just like they were with Lara and move him up to Carolina before season’s end.

    Tyler Black is rolling right now. Doubled and scored a run in the 1st. Jarvis struck out the side in the top of the 1st.

    You’d think they’d take official measurements of all players at the beginning of every season to get these numbers updated. Maybe they don’t but that would seem odd to me.

    Baez has been absolutely raking in the ACL so far. Turns 18 years old in a few days. Wonder if we’ll see him in Carolina at some point this year.

    Probably not the most ideal DH guy, but Black could just be your full-time DH. Of course, Yelich is probably destined for that role starting next year. So let’s just hope Black can be serviceable at 3B. Otherwise, I’m not sure what you do with him. What I do know is the dude is an absolute on-base machine that can hit for some power and steal a base or two.

    Well, he did later in the game after his second walk of the game. One SB away from 40!
