    Is the 12 team playoff format killing the trade deadline? There are now less sellers, higher prices and less transactions. I can’t remember back to last year on the number of major trades and just trades overall.

    I think this is exactly how things play out. Burnes will be gone in the offseason and Woody and Adames will be Brewers on Opening Day.

    I’ve always liked Carlos Santana and have always wanted the Brewers to sign him in previous offseasons but not sure how much he has left in the tank.

    You could probably bat Ohtani in front of Yelich which would help but I know what you’re saying.

    I miss the good old days when the Reds had starting pitching that mostly stunk. Granted, they’re not world beaters by any stretch but there’s been improvement for sure.
