  1. Yeah I hear you but I guess I meant in the grand scheme of things.
  2. It's kinda crazy to think how quickly free agency has moved this year. We've had big time free agents still unsigned in February the past few years and now they're all off the board. By my count, there's only about 10 free agents left from most of the top 50 lists.
  3. At least he didn’t jerk us around for an entire offseason like last time.
  4. Still some quality free agents out there who would make sense for the Brewers, but the list is dwindling quickly. Turner, Drury, Chafin, Fulmer, etc are some names that still intrigue me. If we wait around too long to find the perfect deal, there will be nothing left.
  5. A little bizarre that a rebuilding team would trade a young, controllable talent like Pasquantino. Sounds bogus to me.
  6. Yeah that would have been fun but when was the last time they shelled out any kind of money to a FA starting pitcher? Jhoulys Chacin maybe but that contract was nothing compared to what Rodon got. They just don’t invest a ton of money in pitching.
  7. Absolutely. I think 2B fits Urias best with Turang being a super utility guy, at least in the beginning. Grab a legit 3B.
  8. Turang has played a total of 175 games in Nashville over the span of two years. He needs to play now. If not now, then when?
  9. Yeah best to just hang in there until February for any kind of free agent deals. Guys typically don't sign with the Brewers until they've exhausted all other options and they're desperate.
  10. They sure are stockpiling the mediocre infielders, aren't they? Seems like Hiura might be on his way out.
  11. What's funny is that the Brewers have spent a big fat zero on FA so far. The Twins have at least spent some money although the Brewers have been pretty active on the trade front.
  12. It feels like we've been asking this same question for years now but I think the Brewers genuinely like Urias at 3B with Brosseau and whoever else backing him up. I have to agree with Ron Robinsons Beard that acquiring an elite or close to elite 3B might just not be in the cards right now.
  13. Not trying to be a jerk here at all, but you would have been ok with that sort of a contract? Or is it something else you're pissed at?
  14. It’s absolutely unbelievable that Tyrone is still in pre-arb. Feels like he’s been a Brewer for 10+ years.
  15. Yep and from what I can remember from last time, Turner jerked the Brewers around all offseason before finally resigning with the Dodgers. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again.
  16. Awesome trade for the Brewers and that lineup for Atlanta is going to be ridiculously deep. Glad we’re not in their division!
  17. Why the Braves and A’s even invited the Brewers to the party, I have no idea. Did they just sneak in and nobody noticed?
  18. Or a draft pick? I mean, this is nuts.
  19. Sounds like it really is just Ruiz, folks.
  20. I’m guessing a big difference in defense? Murphy is probably better in that department but I’m just guessing.
  21. Wait, is it seriously just going to be Ruiz?
  22. I just think his name would have come up by now.
