  1. Well, this was inevitable.
  2. Yeah the Brewers haven’t really had an “all-in” move since they traded for Yelich and signed Cain on the same day and that was almost 5 years ago now. Prior to that it was Greinke in 2011. I wouldn’t hold my breath.
  3. Padres came in with a late offer. I understand they are in California but where the frick do they get us all this money? Meanwhile, we're hoping we can sign someone for $10 million a year.
  4. Must be nice to have unlimited money to spend.
  5. Can we please just stop dickin around with the baseballs and go with one ball, all year. This is ridiculous.
  6. Yeah in my mind, it’s pretty clear they’re going to give it one more try with Burnes, Woodruff and Adames. If the team is struggling at the deadline, then it’s fair game as far as trading these guys. If not at the deadline, then next offseason for sure.
  7. It's pretty much a guarantee Frelick will be on at least two top 100 lists. Turang,..not so much.
  8. https://twitter.com/jonmorosi/status/1599951603007893504?s=20&t=gp5wcqKcQVTiVl0hBjoSAg Seems almost inevitable the Cubs will spend big money this winter.
  9. Yeah you can pretty much cross off the top 20 or 25 free agents available every year. The Brewers aren't going to spend that kind of money unless something weird happens and it's a one year, prove it type of deal.
  10. That was my first thought when I saw that Turner signed with Philly. I don't think the Dodgers want to spend that kind of money on any of the other shortstop FA's and will go hard after Adames.
  11. Swanson wouldn't worry me much but any of those other guys would sting.
  12. Not good. We can't go another year with little to no production at catcher. Can't happen.
  13. Yeah, my first thought was Lauer for Arraez. Seems like a good match. Arraez is an absolute on base machine and the Brewers appear to be targeting high on base guys at this point.
  14. You just know they’re going to sign one of the high-end free agent shortstops to go with Arenado and Goldschmidt. View full rumor

  17. How many weeks into the season would Frelick and Turang have to stay in Nashville to gain the extra year of service time?
  18. No, it would make sense to trade one of our outfielders for a young, controllable corner infielder. It would really stink to see Frelick or Wiemer go, but it would make sense.
  19. Catcher is my number one priority. The infield in general is a bit of a mystery so it’ll be interesting to see if they make any further moves to address 2B, 3B, etc. Or do they truly plan on going with Urias and Turang at those positions.
  20. I'd agree with that projection of the OF. There will be plenty of AB's to go around between those 4 guys.
  21. Yeah I think you'll still see Frelick and Mitchell starting in the OF along with Yelich. Winker is DH. Thought maybe they'd move Yelich to DH but starting to think they're not ready to do that yet.
  22. So Winker in a mostly DH role I'm assuming?
  23. Dodgers and Giants also interested in Wong, per Ken Rosenthal. Almost seems inevitable at this point that Wong will be traded this offseason. Lots of buzz around him.
  24. That's right - thanks. $3.6 million is even better then.
  25. This is why you offer a guy like Houser arbitration at $4 million or whatever it's going to be.
