    Frelick-Adames-Yelich would be ideal at the top of the lineup if Yelich had even a little power left and was driving in runs.

    Frelick’s torrid start in AAA continues with two hits in his first two AB’s.

    I can envision Ruiz being one of those “pesky” hitters who just finds different ways of getting on base and then wreaks havoc on the basepaths.

    I thought Ruiz was really struggling since joining Nashville but his numbers aren’t awful at all. Average at .263 and is still getting on base and stealing bases at a high rate too. Add in a few doubles and his time with Nashville so far has gone fairly well. Still think he should have gone straight to Milwaukee after the trade.

    Not sure how many of you listened to 1250 sports out of Milwaukee but I was shocked and saddened to hear of their shutdown today. Will especially miss listening to Brewers postgame with Tim Allen. No longer having a postgame show to listen to immediately after each game is kind of a gut punch. Hopefully one of the other stations in town picks up a postgame show.

    I still have no clue what is going on with CF here. They traded Hader for a guy in who Ruiz who they obviously really like, already has big league experience and plays a position of need. Instead of inserting him in right away, they send him down to AAA in lieu of Jonathan Davis, who rarely sees the field. What am I missing here?

    If Stearns gets an absolutely monster offer, which is completely possible, then you have to consider it. Between Woodruff, Peralta, Ashby, Small and Gasser, you probably have enough to compete for a playoff spot.

    Mark A thought signing McCutchen at one year and $8.5 million was a big deal so that tells you all you need to know about free agency for the Brewers. Don’t get your hopes up. Anything big will have to be done via trade.

    Chourio 4-4 and all of those hits were hammered.

    Yelich is nothing more than a slap hitter at this point who will occasionally run into a double or homerun.

    I admittedly haven’t paid much attention to our pitching prospects this year, outside of the obvious guys like Small, Gasser, etc. So who are the guys at each level that I should be excited about?

    Late to the party here but how many times is Goldschmidt and Arenado going to single handedly beat us?

    Frelick hasn’t missed a beat since moving up to AAA. Guy has hit at every level and just seems to have that “it” factor.

    Really feels like it’s been a lot longer than 6 weeks for Wiemer.. Maybe not though. I know he started out on fire in AA but it feels like he’s struggled for a good 3 months since his hot start, some of it being injury related for sure. Either way, I hope he busts out of this slump and finishes the year strong. I miss good Joey Wiemer.

    Two Brewers in Baseball America’s updated top 100 list - Chourio all the way up to #2 and Frelick at 75.

    I agree and Turang should bring Ruiz or Frelick with him. Get rid of Davis and Brosseau.

    Looks like we might be able to add another prospect to the top 100 list. I’m also looking forward to seeing where guys like Chourio and Frelick end up being ranked at season’s end. Guessing Chourio lands in the top 15.

    Turang, Ruiz, Frelick, Wiemer and Mitchell What do we think is in store for these guys come 2023? I can easily see Turang as the starting 2B on Opening Day. He's spent the entire year in AAA, has had success and is a much cheaper option than Wong or any other FA. The outfield is a little more complicated. Yelich is a lock in LF. Could Frelick or Ruiz be the starting CF on Opening Day? Does Renfroe move to primarily a DH role with Frelick and Ruiz both in the outfield? Or does Renfroe stay in RF with one of Frelick/Ruiz starting in CF and the other one being the 4th outfielder? My prediction: Turang, Frelick and Ruiz begin 2023 on the Opening Day roster with Wiemer and Mitchell starting the year in AAA not too far behind those guys.

    Between Frelick, Ruiz, Turang, Mitchell and Wiemer, there is a ton of young talent in Nashville. Not sure how long they’ll all be together but should be fun to follow.
