  1. For sure. Tonight is very winnable; Wolf is more than capable of giving us a good start. That would give us a chance to go back up 3-2 with Grienke vs Garcia. Obviously we already roughed Garcia up once (although he is a different pitcher at home) The optimist in me is telling me that Weeks, Hart, Braun, Fielder, etc can't possibly duplicate the nothing they did yesterday so we should score some runs today off of Lohse.
  2. That was pretty pathetic offense from the 5th inning on. Did we hit even one ball hard?
  3. Another game where we didn't take advantage of some early chances and it hurt. Wolf needs to keep us in the game tomorrow; we can certainly hit Lohse
  4. If Yuni can do anything it is hit a fastball; hopefully Motte grooves one. I am expecting 1-2-3 here; will be pleasantly suprised if we rally.
  5. Hairston or Yuni are going to have to do it unless Kottaras pinch hits for Lucroy. Lucroy seems like Jason Kendall 2.0 right now; just no punch in the bat at all
  6. Plain and Simple? Really? He was on base 3 times including a home run. Meanwhile Hart also misplayed a ball in the same inning and Hart, Braun, Fielder, and Weeks all failed in key situations. So this loss is somehow completely on Ron because Kotsay failed to get to one ball in the 1st inning? Morgan has played a %+##+@ CF this series anyways; who knows if he would have even taken a good route to get there. If we do lose; Kotsay won't be the primary reason
  7. Extra press boxes. Is the press box set way up on the concourse? Leaving the entire sections blank seem a little unnecessary to me. I am assuming for safety precautions? What are they going to block off the entire OF if we make the World Series? Pretty stupid IMO
  8. Did anyone figure out why those two sections in RF are completely empty?
  9. Jeepers this game turned around fast. Luc is even getting in the action now
  10. Maybe Zack should stop throwing 1st pitch curve balls right down the middle?
  11. I tell you what; if we win the World Series and Prince has a large part of that; I will have a very hard time booing him even if he was on the Cubs. I mean could I really boo him if he hits 4 HRs in the World Series or something like that?
  12. I don't think anyone actually wants him back; but at this point in the season a big performance from him all but forgives his crappy regular season. What happened in the regular season is done and over with and the Brewers are exactly where they want to be; Yuni's crappiness did not impede them from getting homefield advantage in the NLCS. If Yuni fares well in the NLCS and/or World Series I will always love the guy even if he did suck for 4 months because he came through big when it matters. Of course I don't want him back next year because in the long run he probably would just go back to being Yuni; but if he has a steller NLCS or World Series I could careless what he did in the regular season.
  13. I thought RR was superb in the Division Series and thoroughly outmanaged Gibson. He subsituted the defense in when we needed it and put a lot of faith in Axford to go out there again. Since Rickie is still a little hobbled, CC is probably the better defensive 2B right now; plus like has been mentioned the move allowed Axford to stay out there for an extra inning. Rickie was basically useless all series anyways. If you put in CC at 2B you have to leave Yuni in unless you want to shift Hairston over to SS and bring in Green to 3rd; that would have completed decimated the bench when there was a good possibilty of extra innings. RR has handled the playoffs very well so far IMO. Lets see how he does against the evil mastermind that is TLR
  14. This seems to be a non story here. No one in their right mind would turn down a 40% raise to go to another job; especially when we are talking in the millions of dollars. I would probably take all of 2 seconds to decide to leave my job if someone gave me a 40% raise. No doubt Prince loves it here; but its not like its impossible that he will love Texas or Baltimore or SF either. I won't fault him one bit for following the money (so long as we don't find out that the Brewers made a comparable offer). He has not brought up the issue at all; that is all on the media. He seems prefectly content to play out the season and whatever will be will be
  15. EDIT: Our starting rotation is better so long as Marcum and Wolf don't crap the bed again
  16. The Brewers have the better team so long as RR follows one simple rule. DON"T PITCH TO ALBERT!!!! Our starting rotation is better and our bullpen is better (maybe only marginally better). If Rickie can step up I will feel really good. Losing to the Cards in the NLCS might ruin the whole season for me; considering what transpired between the teams over the course of the year
  17. This is Packers/Bears all over again Would be in heaven in we win but would be more devasted than usual with a loss. At least we have home field advantage and won't have to face Carp in either game
  18. Holy crud Debbie Downer
  19. Yuni was a key contributor the whole series outside of a couple defensive plays. He was huge and have to give him props; hopefully he can keep it up in the NLCS.
  20. I need the radio call on the 10th as soon as someone can post it. Great great day
  21. I need the radio call on the 10th as soon as someone can post it. Great great day
  22. Further detail: Sunday - 3PM (Grienke) Monday - 7 PM (Marcum) Wednesday - 7PM (Gallardo) Thursday - 7PM (Wolf) Friday - 7PM (Grienke) Sunday - 3PM (Marcum) Monday - 7 PM (Gallardo) Not exactly sure on times but I believe only the Sunday games are early
  23. I know Sunday is at 3 and it is a foregone conclusion Greinke will start RR just needs to get 4 combined starts out of Gallardo & Grienke if it goes 7. Pitch them on short rest; who cares
