Agreed, I was reacting to your statement that it may cost him a year, and I think that's not that likely at this point. At least, I'd say it's very unlikely if voting were held right now. Obviously many things could happen in the last two months, so we can't be very definitive yet.

The chances of that are at least a lot lower today than they were a month ago. If he's lights out the rest of the way it's possible, but Collins and Baldwin have much more comprehensive resumes and should be 1-2 in some order.

I agree, let's just not let him beat us.

The emphasis should be on the one. I don't care if he gives up 10 runs, if you think that should result in someone being never pitched again that's not the way it works.

Obviously that happened, but he's thrown more in other outings if I recall correctly.
