  1. I thought CC wanted to be in SoCal and have an opportunity to hit regularly. I guess the phraseology of a certain wordsmith rings true here. "It's all about the Benjamins, baby". Truer words never spoken.
  2. We got snow down here in Texas last night. Not the feet that Wisconsin gets, but in some areas a little light dusting. It's cold and windy this morning. So the warm places aren't always warm. Bright side is by the weekend the highs will be back up in the low 70's.
  3. http://tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:bNwbK-DylwsBDM:http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u69/jesper13/ORLYowl.jpgReally. We have the southern end of the front you guys are getting up there and the high tomorrow in San Antonio is going to be in the mid 50's....that's cold for here. I'll take that and not have to live in snow and cold for 5 months and be quite happy.
  4. I DVR'd their Christmas special on public television, and much to my surprise (somewhat), there's a lot of hair going on in the TSO. Amazing!
  5. Moving from Wisconsin to Texas last January....got away from the real bitter cold and snow that I detested in my living in Wisconsin for 3 years after graduating from college. No doubt the best idea I've ever had.
  6. I had that happen the New Years of 1999 in St. Louis. Pretty amazing. Killed an ice scraper in the process, the stuff was so thick. Good luck to everyone up there. Be safe!
  7. Wow. How the mighty have fallen. From stand-up to "Home Improvement" to "The Santa Clause" to hosting local sports talk radio.
  8. This leaves me with a few questions.....Rick Astley is still alive? Wow. Also, I've never done drugs, but I feel like I have after watching that video. And effect would drugs have on watching that video. I agree on the funny, strange and creepy. Just plain weird.
  9. $1.63 at Sam's Club in San Antonio
  10. And teach your kids to throw left-handed.
  11. I guess Steve was the only one upset to see Ann Carroll go.
  12. San Antonio and Austin have Culvers. Cherry Limeades are quite excellent as well.
  13. The best part about Sonic is their happy hour from 2-4 every afternoon, where drinks are half price.
  14. Yeah, it's right around $2.00 here in San Antonio. Less taxes on gas prices and no minimum markup law is a good thing!
  15. According to the wiki page it says FORMER FSN Wisconsin sideline reporter....however when you click on Trenni's name in the article, the first thing it says is she's under contract. Hmm....negotiations maybe? Would Rillo possibly replace Trenni and maybe Counsell replace Rillo in the booth?
  16. They just showed a person wearing that costume at the Badger/Spartans game. Interesting.
  17. I can see it now for FSN....Brian Anderson, Bill Schroeder and Craig Counsell.....oh the fun!
  18. Because the wealth has to be shared between all the teams.
  19. Because the wealth has to be shared between all the teams.
  20. Because the wealth has to be shared between all the teams.
  21. That's why I started this one, to talk specifically about Counsell and his base-loaded clutchiness! :-)
  22. Makes for a very interesting offseason. Does this possibly clear the way for Hall to go back to super-sub status and we actually get a good 3rd baseman? Or do we get a super sub that can hit with the bases loaded and empty?
  23. Link Guess we have to find another clutch guy with the bases loaded.
  24. Church is a good place to volunteer at as well. Whether there's a church that has a food pantry or does afterschool care, or things like that, it's a great place as well.
