    Actually, you can get breakfast anytime. So I'm assuming that the wait staff is wearing thermal underwear, and thick coats going in and out all the time?

    I'm so happy I left. I tried to find the weather in places other than Wisconsin, but it disappeared. So, I'll just share with you that it's going to be 72 today in San Antonio. Took the dog to the dog park and it was great. Tomorrow's going to be 75. It's difficult, but I'm staying tough in the weather.

    A couple of things on Trenni's interview with Braun....what's with his sweater? It's like camo, but with pink! Braun doesn't want to look back, but wants to look to the future. Nice. Braun says he feels comfortable now. That's quite scary in a good way. Love the discussion of plate discipline. Just overall a great interview.

    Benson's wife would make things interesting....His arms issues concern me....Fogg wouldn't be a bad pickup. The question is, do any of these 4 make the rotation better than what it currently is? With Benson, I would be opposed to doing what they did with Jeff Weaver. Give him a chance, and if he doesn't cut the mustard, then cut him.

    Enjoy Atlanta, Jim! I remember a couple of years back when they were talking about the Furries convention in Pittsburgh. It really sounded like they were both trying to keep a straight face....but couldn't. Great chemistry between the two. I hope for the sake of the listeners that the next guy (or girl) has half the chemistry with Uke as Jim did.

    Alright, I hate to do this, but it's the first thought that popped into my head reading the last two posts....combining the two into an ad....."Out of 150 dogs surveyed, the 75% of the dogs surveyed think cat poop tastes better than baby poop."

    I like Prince, I want the best for him. I don't like his choice of agents, but be that as it may. I would love to see him and Braun be the faces of the franchise for years to come. But he's there for the next 2 years, so I'm happy. Love to see 40-50 HRs from both Prince and Braun.

    To me, he shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame, just because of his nickname. The original catcher with the nickname of Pudge is Carlton Fisk. A little originality, please! That's something that has always bugged me. Based on his statistics, yes, he should be in the Hall of Fame.

    As long as his "conditioning" means eating less and actual physical work, as opposed to what seems to have happened last offseason, I'll be happy.

    Basically what Dave tells people is common sense. LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS! Don't charge stuff on credit cards, have a "rainy day" savings account because you WILL need to put new tires on the car, fix the washer, whatever. It makes total sense. I wish I would have known it back when I was in college and first out on my own spending way too much on credit cards. I would be able to own my own house by now, instead of renting!

    OK, but Rickie's potential is far beyond average. Speed and power were supposed to be his strengths. Have only seen those in spurts. That's what I'm getting at. Consistency. Unless consistency for Rickie is average, he's below expectations. Mine, at least.

    I really think this is a make or break year for Weeks. If we see the Rickie Weeks of the last 2 years, I think DM will either look at other options. Hopefully he's going to show the potential that we've all been wanting to see out of him. As nice as Hudson would be, I think Rickie is the man this year.

    I grew up in Wisconsin. When I was 5, my dad took me to a Brewer game in '82. One of the first vivid memories of my life. Everything after that revolved around the Brewers in my baseball fandom. Member of the Brewer/Pepsi fan club, member of the Rob Deer fan club. No matter where I go, what I do, I AM a Brewer fan.

    I can see it now...."Today, I am the greatest Hall of Famer..." Can't wait for the induction ceremony, and I will most definitely be watching! Congrats Rickey....and Jim Rice as well.
