  1. yeah one of the better HBO series. paid way more than 15 for it since it was on before i had the HBO. check out the pacific once you get through that series, just as awesome.
  2. i think for most of us its hard to commentate on these picks. its much easier in the nba and nfl draft where we have seen these players. overall i am happy that they got some positional players into the organization after going heaving pitching the last few years in the first few rounds. hopefully they work out.
  3. someone likes the pick, from bleacher report S.38 Milwaukee Brewers: Mitch Haniger, OF, Cal Poly Grade: A Another knock-out pick for the Brewers, who are stock piling some great bats thus far. He's toolsy with some projectable power, and this might be my favorite of their picks.
  4. instant reaction from bleacher report 1.27 Milwaukee Brewers: Clint Coulter, C, Union HS (Wash.) Grade: A- I believe Coulter is the best catcher in the draft class, as he's a tremendous athlete for his size with exceptional raw power. He's a big dude, but he has what it takes to stick behind the plate. Everyone and their mother had him going to the Brewers, so not a big surprise there. Regardless, a steal for the Brewers at this point. 1.28 Milwaukee Brewers: Victor Roache, OF, Georgia Southern Grade: A- The Brewers are all-in on power bats, so not a big shocker that they went with Roache over Gallo right here, who's much more signable. He has tremendous power, especially to his pull-side, that projects at the next level. He broke his wrist and required surgery early in the spring, but that obviously that isn't overly concerning to the Brewers. This is a bargain for the Brewers and one of the best steals of the draft thus far. Nicely done with Nos. 27 and 28, Brew Crew.
  5. we pick in 10 picks again, there is a chance one of these players will be around. I like the roache pick from what i heard on tv. can't say i knew much about him until 2 minutes ago.
  6. wouldn't mind eflin or gallo here
  7. wow the cat was out of the bag early on that one, reminds me the lawrie pick, which turned out good for us.
  8. very off topic, but does anyone else think its weird that bud announces the city of the college the players attend instead of their hometown.
  9. bleacher report has gallo and coulter. i'd be happy with that. throw in a college pitcher at 38 and today would be a success http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1207557-2012-mlb-mock-draft-final-first-round-predictions
  10. there seems to be alot of players with a high ceiling, they tried that the last 2 drafts and both have failed. i'd love to see a marshall or sullinger. much more of a sure thing.
  11. if braun and aram don't play tomorrow, we could put out one of the worst lineups in mlb history tomorrow.
  12. i agree with this, they need to draft someone that can help them. the problem is that skiles doesn't play rookies. my #1 choice is sullinger, he can help the bucks on day 1, even only as a junior. just don't know if he will be around since mocks have him from 8-14
  13. zeller scares the living heck out of me. he reminds of when the bucks took pryzbilla. who has gone on to have a decent NBA career but didn't do much in Milwaukee or really haven't lived up to the hype of a player taken as high as he was. i don't know if sullinger would be around i have seem him taken in the 8th range in some mocks and 14th in others. if he is there i'd take him. the same thing with henson from NC. A player i love is Lillard, but i don't know if he will be around at 12. he could replace BJ in 2013-14. I also like Lamb, but feel the bucks need to take a PG or big man. in the 2nd round, i am biased but love the 2 marquette guys and feel both would be great fits for the bucks. i can't say i know that much about the players that would be available at 42 at this time though.
  14. very impressed with his defense. i know he struggled in nashville but i hope he starts more than 20% of the time.
  15. lived there for 3 years right after college. can't speak much for the school district, but i will tell you it was a great place to live. best of luck to you on the interview.
  16. slightly off topic but if parra would have pitched decently yesterday than he would have earned a chance to get a start. you can't put him in against the best team in the NL on tuesday. I know it may not be the ideal place for TT to make his major league debut but it would definitely let you see what you have in him.
  17. i'll compare this to getting josh wilson last year. helped alittle but the brewers still need to do something else. in the short term its an improvement.
  18. yeah i am fine with this. you have no idea how long this game is going to go. if the games goes 15 innings and they run out of position players and have to pinch hit Marcum with the winning run on base, you would be complaining about how they wasted a player in the 1st.
  19. one of my favorite restaurants that matches your description is http://www.meritage.us/. the food is very good. they have an excellent patio and a small dining room. also you don't have to deal with the hassles of downtown parking.
  20. yeah 1st base is not as large of an issue as SS. i wouldn't waste resources on Lind.
  21. looks like show will meet cena in a cage match at no way out. this is why it makes sense for show to go heel. he was going nowhere as a face. i thought cena was getting time off though, unless its after no way out and the show injures him in the cage.
  22. didnt make sense to have that end the show.the punk bryan match was awesome, but somehow that took a back seat to cena dumping garbage on johnny's head and dumping water on his pants.
  23. by the way, show needed to turn heel. I just would have hoped that they didn't choose the outcome that everyone saw coming.
  24. i really enjoyed that punk bryan fight. i am sad that they chose the most predictable outcome for the main event
