  1. looking around the interweb today i think i found the worst wwe gimmick of all time, don't remember him at all but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=petRqrvKiyA
  2. there has been awful ones, and i'll put this up there. Oz (kevin nash) Issac Yankum (Kane),
  3. Less than 2M, he's only making 6M for 2012. 1.85M, same difference
  4. good point, i was waiting for the constant texting everytime he was on camera. if you watch the main event closely, he was even texting while the match was going on right before kane attacked ryder. i don't think there was a ocnnection, but i knew the texting would come to flirtation at some point.
  5. i blocked cookies and got the 15 articles left warning again, not sure how they are counting articles. i have been to more than 5 articles since i cleared cookies and i got the message too.
  6. liked the jericho promo, definitely building to something. i said the same thing about Laurinaitis last night, he is kind of wearing on me. Really thought the Brodus Clay thing was dumb. Do not like when the WWE tries to repackage a wrestler that we have seen before. Really reminds me of what they did with Rikisihi. think Clay would be better served as a heel on smackdown who is really lacking them then whatever they are doing with him on Raw.
  7. next year should be very interesting with Bonds, Sosa, Biggio, Clemens, and Schilling all up for the first time.
  8. i agree, the problem is that if melvin believes that braun will get a 50 game suspension, there aren't many other in house options to help the brewers in april and may. Aoki would atleast be able to help in left and still allow gomez and morgan to platoon in center.
  9. the whole thing is stupid. first of all why the heck is brady clark on the ballot. secondly while the 90's were not the greatest time in brewer history, there needs to be some representation. we are not retiring numbers or putting statues in front of home plate. its simply putting someones name in the sidewalk. i don't care if its jenkins or burnitz, but there are players who had good careers in the 90's despite not having much team success.
  10. are you using firefox, how do you delete future cookies obviously until jsonline sets up their page like espn insider where you need to log in to see anything, there will be a way around it. problem is that if they do that readership will go down and they will make less in advertising. maybe this was set up to get as much money they can from less than tech savvy people to try to get some money back.
  11. i received a message this morning that i only had 15 free articles left this morning, i deleted all of my jsonline cookies to see if that causes the count to reset.
  12. if you look back at how the draft went that year, I can defend the pick since everyone they were looking at were gone and really nobody drafted within 10 picks of him as done anything either, minus maybe eric bledsoe but the bucks don't need a point.
  13. What am I missing? Why can't people get local news from sites like WTMJ or Fox6? Sports was the only real reason to go to JSOnline for me in the past. you are right about day to day local news, but jsonline does do alot of investigative reporting and such that tv stations do not have the time or staff to do. there are also features that some may enjoy like movie reviews, reviews of concerts, restaurants, movies etc.
  14. that may all be true, but there isn't really anywhere else to get local news. jsonline was nice to check occasionally during the day to see if anything huge was going on. The odd part is that you will still be able to view the page which means you can still see the headlines and the leads just not read the whole article more than 20 times a month. that may be enough for me.
  15. it is only 99 cents a week for full online content, i may subscribe during baseball season but even though its not alot of money i don't see the point of doing it.
  16. i think ziggler will be a great heel. Del Rio can be one, but his push has definitely ended for now. they wasted swagger. i think Miz will have another push coming too. Raw definitely is stacked. the problem is on smackdown. Henry is hurt and its sad that maybe their top heel on the show right now is Rhodes (not saying he isn't a good wrestler, but he shouldn't be the top heel)
  17. i always try to pick a team in the other conference to cheer for: MLB: Brewers - Indians NFL: Packers - Browns NBA Bucks - NCAAB - Marquette - UWM - Gonzaga - Xavier NCAAF - Badgers MMA Jon Jones
  18. i agree it was a great return, still has to be more to the story line though. there was the line yesterday that "she hold the reason for my return" could it be stephanie coming back to take control from laurenitis?
  19. its probably y2j, i still am rooting its vince's return to tv though, which nobody has been talking about.
  20. i really do not like new years, for the same reason i do not like opening day or st patricks, its amateur night. I have a few friends and siblings over for dinner and games. new years eve may be the most overrated night of the year.
  21. Mark Belling is reporting this this afternoon, says its not naming rights but the next biggest thing, says its all he can say because he can't nail down all of the details and the brewers offices are closed today.
  22. Milwaukee will always be a football town. I think the reason for the recent brewers attendance success is the old phrase "people go where other people go". Brewer games are cool to be at these days. While the brewers struggled in 2010, the attendance drop wasn't too large. This could be because that there were alot of preseason expectations so people bought tickets before the season, but also alot of people go to drink and hang out with friends. If they have a 70 win season, the next year will be back to 15 K crowds on weeknights. People might still wear the stuff, but just because they paid $30 for the hat and $25 for the shirsey. i don't agree with this, in 2010 the brewers only won 77 games and still averages 2.77M fans, which is an average of 34K, to do that they cannot average 15K on weekday games.
  23. the problem with Hammond's first round picks is that he has taken a project each year. The team lacks star power so the bucks are forced to try to draft a star in the middle of the first round. Jennings is a good nba player but will not be a star unless he improves his shooting ability. in the second round the bucks were able to take good college seniors in Lueur and LRBM. that being said if you look at who was available when the bucks picked in 09-11, i can only argue that they should have drafted brooks this year. that being said its hard to fault a pick that has yet to make it on the court. I can't say that Jennings hasn't been the best of players drafted just after him and the same for sanders.
