  1. there is only 5 games left, so he's out 20 at bats max. he is a solid defensive replacement if needed or pinch runner. i'm fine with it.
  2. After sept 6th I'm guessing Gamel, Farris, Dillard, Peralta, and Scarpetta get called up.
  3. i was driving home at 650 last night and saw long lines coming into the stadium from miller park way and 94W. If you must park in the lots at this point, I would enter in at canal which decreases your waiting time by atleast half. I have been taking shuttles to the game and back. I live right by O'Briens, so we usually buy a beer in a plastic cup and take it on the bus. As long as you leave right after the game you usually will make the first or second one back to the bar.
  4. don' t think it was due to crowd reaction link
  5. would have liked to see khris davis on the squad, hopefully it doesn't mean he is included in the mets trade. was suprised jungmann wasn't on it either, but i guess and that is right and they have determined he has thrown enough. looking forward to see what bradley can do.
  6. got mine today, looks good!
  7. Its hard at this point to predict what they will do, I think Green, Schafer, and Gamel will be the minor leaguers up on opening day. I could see Peralta fighting for a roster spot but I think our rotation will be the same as this year. I like the idea of moving McGehee to 1st and letting Green have a shot at 3rd if Gamel struggles at 1st though. I can't see them bringing back Yuni B but at this point I don't see them making any changes minus Fielder not coming back.
  8. while he has a very good triple a ERA with a very small sample size, he struggled in AA ball this year. Hopefully the brewers don't struggle with another pitcher making his big league debut.
  9. i will buy 1 and haven't decided. I like the NCAA franchise to play the trick offenses like Navy's option. Its also fun to take a garbage team and try to get them into the BCS. Madden has appeal this year though as the Packers are the superbowl champs so they will be a focal point of the game like be a default team.
  10. i wish they put the b squad out for game 2 against lincoln.
  11. spent 10 minutes looking for mike matthews in his #30 jersey, i don't think it exists on the internet.
  12. i thought it was pointless from the beginning, you knew they weren't going to contend so why give up all the prospects. It was only done as a PR move to get the base excited. I think that was the biggest issue with Hendry. He made a splash every off season by signing players to lavish contracts that were plast their prime. It got cubs fans excited when it was done, but they don't have much to show for it and are years away from getting back on track.
  13. while it would be nice for Attanasio to buy the bucks because it would be a lock for the team to stay, i'd rather have him just focus on the brewers. The bucks have been a money loosing team for years and I'd rather have Mark focus on using his resources to improve the brewers since i'm a bigger baseball fan. The problem with the bucks is that Kohl has given the public no indication what will happen to the team when he dies since he has no children or wife to pass the team on to. I don't see any scenario where the state will help the bucks get an arena, so unless Kohl buys one, i don't know how its going to get done.
  14. glad its party of my season ticket package!
  15. i agree, there has to be a better system, then having a deadling that everyone waits to sign right at. jungmann and bradley completely wasted their 2011 season by signing so late. glad they are in the fold though.
  16. 2 million dollar bonus for bradley,
  17. wow, 18 minutes left, i don't see how they can get deals done with both of them. atleast get bradley signed please, but i really want both of them.
  18. i'm sure Nash was a hired gun, since triple h and Nash are friends. They wouldn't have brought him out from nowhere if he wasn't. RAW should be interesting tonight, I was just expecting Triple H to be more involved in the match than just missing cena's foot on the ropes.
  19. from what i read Jackson was not arrested, but the incident was at his house. Only Perkins was link
  20. overall it was a good card, no brewers on tv from what i saw though. The Henderson - Miller fight lived up to the hype, and Hardy Lytle fight was good too. The first 2 fights were just OK.
  21. i wish they would just get rid of the brands, the whole thing was always stupid to me. re-emphasize the tag team titles, simply have the wwe championship, IC, and bring back the hardcore belt.
  22. there are always people going from tailgater to tailgater selling anti-cubs shirts no matter who the crew is playing, so i think it is legal. They are not as well done as these, so I'd be interested.
  23. well even if we don't sign Marcum, there is 2 draft picks coming our way. We all knew Lawrie could hit, we also didn't really have a position for him, even though he would be looking good at 3rd in 2012 now.
