    i believe that if we can't / won't acquire a starter lets give chris cody a chance. He has decent control and his AAA numbers looks good. If Bush is throwing again on Friday before we know what the brewers course of actions are, we have to figure out something. I am going to assume Burns gets skipped with the off day on Thursday and Looper will be starting on Sunday, so that buys the team some time.

    the summer league has alteast given fans hope that they drafted all right and are on the right way up. I know it means very little but our young players outplayed other teams young players and thats something. I really like the Illasova signing. He was a decent player before going overseas and should help ease the loss of RJ .

    i'm getting it, i'm predictiong Lesnar over Mir St Pierre over Alves Fitch over Thiago Henderson over Bisping I agree with your assesment of the main even roco. Hopefully the brewers game is over by 9, should make for a long and awesome night of being a couch potato.

    just wondering if anyone else picked it up today. Prince is on the cover. Only played 3 innings before the game started, but not too impressed so far. The brewers are only the 28th best team in the game and the rosters are very out of date and appear to opening day rosters. Hopefully a roster update occurs soon. I much prefer the show to this game as an initial impression. I think the game will be fun for a bit but will not have staying power like the show.

    Hall has a place on this team which is to enter the game with the team up late in the game, I don't want to see him in the lineup or in a situation where the game is on the line.

    I think Gamel should go down since its obvious he is not going to get AB's anytime in the near future while McGehee continues his hot streak.

    it wasn't the practice squad, but he is playing on the summer league team. I don't believe its an actual contract as I am fairly certain that any team can sign James after the summer league.

    I could see him filling a Tim Legler, Eddie House type role as a sniper off the bench. isn't that why meeks was drafted?

    I'm all for this. I never got a chance to go to any Rampage games, but USL games that I see on TV always look like a lot of fun. Maybe the Wave can go back to outdoor and rejoin the league? attendance for rampage and wave united games were much less than the wave, i don't see this working out. The bottom line is that you can't force a sport to a public that has no interest. There was a long time in my life where i hated hockey and have started getting into it because i want to. It has become clear that no matter how many youth leagues, professional teams, etc the majority of people have no interest.

    the bigger problem is that this market is saturated with sports teams. we now have 2 minor league arena football teams that are fighting for fans with the brewers. During the winter months, the admirals, marquette, bucks, uwm, and wave are all competing for the same fans. Also alot of fans in the city support the packers and wisconsin athletics. Its tough for a market of this size to support so many sports teams.

    my first though when i saw it was players like Sexson made it look questionable. Seems like its filled with just a bunch of mashers. I figured it would create a good discussion so i posted it.

    i think sharpie could be had rather cheep. I think it would be a great move for us, he has a great ERA on a bad team. Id rather go after this type of move then one where we would have to give up a ton of top prospects.
