  1. I understand that. I get that Andrews ceiling is maybe a middle reliever. My point is that he can still be a competent MLB reliever and the brewers gave up on him after 4 MLB appearances and 3 1/3 innings.
  2. Andrews was one of favorite minor leaguers. His numbers in Nashville were pretty good but it’s undeniable that he was awful in the majors. The fact that the Yankees gave up something somewhat decent for him indicates that they think there is a chance he can rebound and help them. This is a move that the team may regret. what if the brewers gave up on Burnes after a horrible rookie year?
  3. better a lottery ticket than cash
  4. it really was unfair of those criticizing the hire of Doc because there wasn't improvement out of the gate also on a long west coast road trip. Last night was impressive, but I don't want to get too excited over a small sample size of 2 games.
  5. Ballys announced the Brewers spring training schedule today and it seems to indicate no changes are where the games will be broadcasted in 24 https://www.ballysports.com/article/clsj3ugtd000nl5ubn2hx25ux?fbclid=IwAR0GMQUlA0j3-9wrH5z3_RxIfsWeXzbZdZ_YhXWSmiHGpaLqu5pvf7m0dwc
  6. @Joseph ZarrHe has said he doesn't want to, but as of right now nba.com has Doc as the coach https://www.nba.com/allstar/2024/roster
  7. they were without 2 of their 3 best players. I give them a pass for last night. This last 2 weeks has been a perfect storm of issues. Switching coaches and injuries. I wish Doc didn't have to coach the all star game, and could use that time to figure out how to get out of this mess.
  8. It doesn’t really matter if he does. I doubt his 4th option gets picked up. He is looking like a bust. Not sure what anyone thought the bucks would get for him
  9. This trade is very easy. Bucks wanted another Tucker,to follow the rules of this forum, a jerk. They tried with Ibaka the year at the title but he was washed up. I’m good with what they did today and will be interested to see how they handle the buy out market
  10. Rolo to the kings for $. Bucks now have an open roster spot if they wish to play in the buyout market.
  11. that was my point, id rather have sanchez at this contract than caratini since Contreras will be back their the lions share of the time.
  12. Caratini signed for 2/12. Sanchez is getting 1/7. Sanchez is a better hitter. Caratini obviously better behind the plate. I didn't do a backflip when this was done but I feel better about the backup Catcher job than what I did when I woke up yesterday AM.
  13. I came here to post just about this same think, guess I will just like it :)
  14. Remember the clippers started 0-6 with Harden and are now the top seed in the West. I'm not going to give the East to the Celtics just yet because of a bad west coast trip with a new coach that has yet to have a practice with his team.
  15. The article said that you prepay and then just "check in" once parked, or scan a QR code and pay day of. I still don't understand how it wouldn't be possible to just park and not pay. I'm sure that has been addressed and there is a way to flag those people. Possibly if they are scanning each license plate coming in, they can determine which ones didn't check in / pay day of?
  16. our catcher also posted a broken heart emoji when he got traded to the brewers. which he got over quickly.
  17. Ortiz hit 321/378/885 in triple A last year and has shown a good glove, what would impress you?
  18. Ortiz had 33 MLB at bats. holy small sample size. Also Hall's relief stats are not that bad in 2023.
  19. I wanted a top 100 prospect and a young player that can help in 24. Arnold got that. The draft pick is gravy
  20. normally if you are offered a job and turn it down, you don't get a 2nd chance at said job with said same boss.
  21. It’s early, but I wish they would focus on the offensive line and secondary in the first 2 rounds.
  22. Don’t know anything about him. I’m glad that they didnt go fired dc, fired head coach or an internal promotion. That’s has been their mo since freaking 1992, Ray Rhodes from San Francisco and that’s only because of Mike Holmgren
  23. agreed, maybe I didn't come off clear enough, I wouldn't be surprised if one was a DC in Seattle and one in Baltimore. there are 3 decent DC candidates on that staff, so packers should act if they want their pick (assuming that those 3 won't wait to wait it out to see what seattle and baltimore wants to do). Personally I think it makes Parker the choice.
  24. fans will focus on giving up such a big lead, but how many MU people really thought Nova was just going to get boat raced at home? A very gritty win that will help them down the stretch.
