Anyone really care that they are walking Hardy to get to Braun? I don't.

D'oh...not enough oomph on that one for Braun. Another run would've been nice before Turnbow took the mound, but oh well. Hopefully the curve is working tonight.

Cubs are up 6-3, bottom of the 6th. STL and NYM are tied 1-1 in the 10th.

Let's lock this one up, boys

Has Garner been asleep for Braun's first month in the majors?

Could be wrong but I think Hardy has much better splits with RISP. Odd move anyway, but I guess Garner wanted to ensure maximum probability that the score remained the same. Still a little surprising, but not all that crazy, IMO.

He didn't block that ball very well, in fact I would qualify it as a pretty lazy effort on both those balls that got away in the AB against Pence.

I couldn't tell you the last time we've had a batter reach on a dropped third strike against us prior to this week. Just like catcher's interference, when there's one rarity, another is sure to follow.

Thank god, nice job Tbow.

Also, if you haven't tuned into the Sounds broadcast yet, do it quick.

I really think people don't need to freak out every time Turnbow comes in. He has had a few bad games this year, but in general he has been pretty solid all year.

Just for the record.....we aren't talking about a certain something going on a certain somewhere......right?

It's perfectly acceptable to talk about John Thomson's no hitter for the Royals in the 2nd inning in Anaheim.

Nice work, DT.

Do have to note in his defense that he really does seem to have to face the tougher hitters a lot more that Cordero does.

Safe to exhale for another half inning. Now let's hope CoCo doesn't get hit with a barrage of bloop singles again.

Edit: WOW did Prince kill that one! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Huh? I was clearly just foreshadowing all the preperation in the dugout that Fielder was undergoing to hit #27 ..... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
