I'm going to chalk this up as bizarro weekend. I mean the Nats are on the verge of sweeping Minnesota in the HomerDome. Levale Speigner and has 9.10 ERA outpitched Johan Santana last night. The Earth is not balanced.

So I'm going to try and forget what happened last night. We have 7 games left on this road trip. I'm praying for 3 wins...4 and I might dance a naked gig in my yard.

Please, though, I need a little streak of good baseball from this team. So I'm marking the 9 game homstand starting next Monday (3 vs. Giants, 3 vs. Royals and 3 vs. Astros) as the potential start of something good.

I think I'm going to blame that horrible loss last night on the fact that we did not have the traditional layout for the Game Thread. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I'm just trying to tell myself that there is no way that the Brewers can get swept by the worst team in the AL. There's just no way. It's impossible for the Brewers to lose tonight.

Thank God this game isn't on live TV. I don't think I could take it.

Anyone know when they're going to put on the squeeze play thing?

Ok, let's DO this Brewers.

My still and beating heart cannot take much more abuse.

An almost statistically impossible loss last night drove me to the point of heart attack.

Let's win one, for AJAY's sake. After last night's rant, I don't think his blood pressure can handle another loss. Hang in there buddy! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I'm glad this game isn't on TV. I'm going to watch Sopranos tonight, and try to forget the Brewers even exist.

at least I was at a bar last night. That was rough, but I'm glad I had to follow the gametracker on my phone...watching it might have made me sick

Im with you dougjones43. I will be watching The Sopranos and I will not tune into the radio or sports center or baseball tonight. I will check the internet tomorrow morning to see what happend and then if it was good I will watch the squeeze play at noon since Im off tomorrow. Come on guys like hawing said hit that restart button and start over. It always worked when I was sucking at Nintendo, why cant it work for the Brewers?

It's a good day. I can feel it. Hopefully it continues with a Brewers W.

my wife looked at our Directv guide and said that the game is now on the guide for tonight on the Rangers feed (643 I believe). I haven't looked for myself, but why would she lie. She said it wasn't on the list last night but is this afternoon.

As much as I'd love to see the Brewers take this game and head into Detroit on the right foot, Dave Bush pitching in Texas scares the bejeezus out of me.

So, what are the odds that if the Crew loses tonight that Yost is replaced tomorrow?

None

5-10%

10-25%

25-50%

50-75%

Pretty Good

Absolutely

As much as it deserves some conversation, I think the odds are slim to none. Other opinions?

And hopefully they win tonight so it's a moot point, but interesting to hear everyone's opinion.

I'd go for 0-5% chance that Yost gets fired over this. While the Rangers stink in the AL, I'm convinced they'd be above .500 in the NL. They've got some talent on their team...it's not like the Brewers are getting swept by the old-time Washington Senators or anything. They've got some good bats and a solid bullpen that's been doing well despite being overused due to short outings from the starters.

I'm predicting a 6-5 Brewer win. As bad as the Brewers have been, they've managed to avoid getting swept more often than not (the San Diego series being the exception).

I noticed that too. Does MLB and ESPN still have some kinda weird blackout deal or is that just MLB and FOX?

I see that its on 667, but not listed on the MLB Extra Innings package (734-750). That usually means DirecTV won't be showing it right?

EDIT: Unless, I fly to the Dallas-Ft Worth area via a wormhole or something I think the chances of TV tonight on my DirecTV are slim. I just read this on DirecTV's website.

"ESPN BLACKOUT INFORMATION: ESPN maintains their exclusive national broadcast window for all Major League Baseball games on Sunday nights, therefore, no telecast can be made available for out?of?market distribution. As their rights are for night games only, any games which start after 5:00pm ET (2:00pm PT) cannot be distributed out?of?market. However, on the first Sunday after the All?Star Game (7/15/07), no game with a start time after 3:00pm ET (12:00pm PT) can be distributed out?of?market.
