Man, the Tigers bullpen is gonna be an albatross around their neck

Anyway, Sanchez looks (or "sounds" as it were) pretty good...hopefully we can tag another one or two on.

Just thinking ahead here...like I'm sure Yost will be. Shouse would be best-suited for an inning facing Roberts, Velez, and Winn...probably the 8th? Gagne should be good for an inning. Mota for the seventh and part of the sixth today?

Well at least Sanchez is nearing 70 pitches already. Hardy's been really slow out of the gate so far, though.

Villy over 80 pitches - hope for a quick inning so he can throw one more.

Sounds like someone gave Villy the memo. 5 pitches, 2 outs http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

I would assume McClung would not pitch today, and that Turnbow would be less likely than others, though he could go if really needed. Shouse hasn't pitched yet, and the lefty / SH / SH top of the SF order is a natural place for him. Torres and Riske must also be available though I'd imagine Mota and Gagne would be more likely.

So far an efficient inning by CV...

I imagine Gagne depends on if it's a save situation, which it would be if the score stays the same...I'm just hoping it doesn't.

Alright, 11 pitch inning. He can at least start the 6th now, possibly going the full inning if he's efficient.

11 pitch inning, CV at 88 pitches. That's what I wanted to see, low pitch count in the 5th so we can get another inning out of him.

Hey, we should all say the same thing at the same time http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The really strange situations are when we all agree on something like this and Yost does something completely different...

I'm a Jason Kendall fan. I've already forgotten Johnny Estrada. And I've got a feeling that Kendall's experience behind the plate will help the staff as the season goes on.
