dlk9s.....I suppose complete lack of length would be more accurate, but either way, it certainly seems to be a limiting factor

nice pitch to swing at, Braunie!

This has been a brutal game (once again) to watch.

It's the sixth inning. Is this where the wheels fall off for Bush?

Unless you intended that to be blue, the wheels have already fallen off.

It is kind of interesting how quickly there has gotten to be a not-at-all subtle anti-Prince vibe in the fan base. And it's not just a vibe that is native to this forum.
Might be because he is starting to look like he is pulling a Sheffield. Having Boras as a agent doesn't help. And his clubhouse comments lately have been all but inspiring with respect to his attitude.

Remember when there were some rumors of maybe trading for Marte last year? That would've been pretty cool.

If Prince would've kept running there Hart might've beat that out.

This team has done an excellent job of hitting when it doesn't matter tonight. Mike Cameron has been a big disappointment for me so far, and Hardy continues to light it up with the bases empty.

Talk about the Pitt pitchers "scattering" 17 base runners. Wow.

Just one of those games, I guess. At least we're hitting the ball.

And Rickie Weeks says, "Don't worry Prince, I don't want you to be the only one to make terrible decisions on defense."

Nate McLouth has the weakest 4-4 day ever.

zack has REALLY calmed the delivery down since a couple years ago.

Show the Jackson 7 again please. Cripes we get it. They like him.

What's that rick?

McLouth looks like David Eckstein with Craig Wilson's mullet.

Edit: J.J. looks like he wants to strangle everyone in the infield around him. That makes two plays he should've had that were screwed up by someone else.

Good thing the Brewers battled back into this one only to let their manager throw it away on a lengthy appearance by Zach Jackson.

Edit: Give a solid assist to the defense, but a switch should have been made with Gomez at the plate.

Barring an unlikely comeback, this is the kind of game, even more than the gut-punches, that costs teams divisions and wildcards. Not the loss itself, per se, but the direct evidence that this provides in terms of what ails this team all too often.

As I said earlier, just one of those games, I guess. Can't say the guys aren't hitting.

Am I reading that correctly, we have 25 LOB?

That is unacceptable!

That's a misleading stat, as it totals LOB for every single AB. It would be more accurate/telling if it was only men LOB at the end of an inning.

Fun fact:

Since the Brewers swept their last road series (7/1/04), they have played 10 games in which they had an opportunity to sweep their opponent (on the road). They have lost all ten games.
