Wow, the first real game thread of the season !! Everything is starting to feel official now. I don't know how I am going to be able to sleep tonight knowing that the Brewers and Dodgers are set to square off tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait anymore.

 

By the way, don't they normally announce the starting lineups in advance?

yes, mlb.com's opening day preview had the lineups for the game as of Friday

I remember when I started my countdown a few minutes after the Cardinal/Brewer game last October 182 days ago. At last, the long awaited day has arrived. And being at the park for a few hours today definately was a nice primer for the year. It was so cool just sitting in there with the fellow fan watching the Crew smack the ball around. Seriously, Bill Hall hit lasers everywhere and mainly all up the middle. It was nice to see and hopefully he does it during the games too.

Flip-flop Hardy and Hart and then flip-flop Estrada and Jenkins and then switch Counsell for Graffanino and then I think I could live with that line-up.
