Colbyjack Appreciation Thread

Colby-

I just wanted to take a moment to thank for the time and effort you put into the draft forum here at BF.Net.

Your contributions are timely, thorough, and always top-quality. Through your efforts, readers here gain advanced knowledge of the top prospects, and draft-day possibilities, at a level which rivals that of many subscription-only services.

Thank you for all that you do for this forum, no one who posts on this site brings more value than you do.

A True Labor of Love - always appreciate Colby, and Mass, and The Automator (It's 3030) and on and on...

Power Arms win the biggest games, so

Here's to some power arms on 6/5

Thank you for all of the hard work you put in Colby. You make us all little Mel Kiper jrs on the site, minus the whacked helmet hair.

I can't even begin to comprehend the number of hours that you must put into HS and college scouting, Colby. That so much of that work shows up on a site I would be going to anyway makes it all the more perfect.

In short, you rock!

I'm just repeating what everyone else has said, but it's worth repeating: Brewer fans are lucky to have such knowledgeable and passionate people working at Brewerfan. Thanks to Colby for months of diligent work and thanks to everyone else who'll be pitching in this week. I'm giddy for Thursday.

Type in the name of any prospect in this years draft into Google. Check out which site is constantly in the top 3. It's not just brewerfans that are reading this material, and yes, it is some of / if not the best MLB draft coverage on the net.

I didn't catch the actual interview, but it is funny listening to the snippet of your interview on XM colbyjack. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The work Patrick does here is incredible. It really puts Brewerfan.net on the map as a premiere draft resource. Sometimes when it comes to the draft I think Patrick is superhuman, and then I remember that he wrote this leading up to the 2002 draft.

Greinke, Moore & Fielder are almost locks to be there at #7. One pitcher out of Gruler, Loewen or Kazmir would seem likely to fall. Loewen probably won't sneak past the Royals at #6, as it likely will depend on whom the Reds take at #3. If all 3 are gone, just hope the Brewers have the sense not to take a 1-dimensional player in Prince Fielder.
Of course Patrick has never tried to downplay how badly he wanted Scott Moore that year, but no matter, Patrick's draft knowledge is second to none here at BF.net.

Thanks!

Here Here! I'll raise a drink to you fine lad. And here's to a 5-5 night at the dish tonight, pending the fields get prepped and dried in time.

Many thanks, CJ! I don't post that often, but I have been a member here for 3+ years, and definately enjoy soaking up your bits of knowledge and wisdom.

Colby, many thanks here also. Thanks to you, I now have more interest in the baseball draft than the football draft - and I used to camp out on the couch for football. Your knowledge and hard work is greatly appreciated.
