The A's just have no offense, and Macha's insistence on playing Kotsay and Chavez against lefties is stupid. Kotsay especially - Kielty owns LHP's and yet he sits, even though all three normal starting OF's can play CF. Obviously, the Tigers pitching plays a part in them having no offense, but they didn't have any during the regular season, either.

Macha's insistence to not use Kielty, like ever, against a LHP is baffling. Scutaro is hitting like Scutaro normally hits, yet he leaves him in there against a LHP with Kielty on the bench.
