I don't think we're ever going to hit a GS this season. lol

Anyone else think David Bell looks like Kurt Russell?

Wow, I never even thought of Kurt Russell. I always said he looked like David Keith but he does look a lot like Kurt Russell.

There is a little something there.

Edit: Besides the stubble, that is. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I can see it, too. lol

Nice job Capellan. Be ready for Nedly to run you out there the remaining 9 games.

I'm liking tomwopat as the IGT starter.

With that avatar, you really should start the Saturday IGT, too, as it will be the 8th (8th!) anniversary of that glorious game.

Nice to be on the other side of one of these for a change.

And how about our #5 starter leading the team in wins now?

That means he's the best starter on the team, right?

No, but I'd argue based upon performances only, he's our 3rd best behind Cappy and Sheets. He's not a #5 starter...at least not on this team..

No, it means he's the only one on the team who is a proven winner and knows how to win baseball games. The rest of these guys are losers who should be DFA'ed immediately.

I've always felt really comfortable with Dave Bush on the mound, even more than Capuano during the second half. Next year, if he can become even just a little bit more consistent, he will be really, really good, certainly with a win total in the teens.

What's the opponent OPS for the first 2 innings or so for Bush? I think it's outrageously high like around 1.000 or so. After that it drops to like .500

That's probably not accurate, but if he gets out clean in the 1st it's usually smooth sailing.
