By the way, I'm glad Doug threw Carpenter a pitch I could have bunted for a good sacrifice on 1-2. Don't bother trying to get the guy to go around at a bad pitch. Save the bad pitches for when it's 2-0 with the bases loaded.

Man...what happened to the Davis of 03-04? Just when they were talking big contract extension, too...(sigh)..I just can't figure it out.

Giving up runs like that just kills me. I'd much rather see Pujols hit a solo moonshot to left field rather than finding a way to give up a run without evening allowing a hit.

Man, how dare he give up runs to a good team! He sucks.

He's pitched excellent tonight, I don't know what there is to complain about. Also, I don't think it's so much that he nibbles, it's that he suddenly doesn't get that pitch anymore. He still hits his spots, but it doesn't get chased or called as often as it used to.

He's frightening to watch. The sequence to Carpenter, which led to a run, by the way, is perfect visual evidence. He actually should have been nibbling, and he didn't! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif

Just looking at the scoring on that play my guess is Halls hit Carpy with a liner, richoceted to Eckstein who threw Hall out, just speculation though

Correct, except it was a bouncer.

Jenksie's new grip really is helping isn't it? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Props to his brother for changing his whole approach up there at the plate.

Well, I base him sucking more on his poor performance and abandunce of walks this season more than just his performance tonight.

He hasn't pitched badly tonight, but last inning was him letting a team back into the game with lack of control again.

So the whole season, it's just that the umpires haven't given him the corners? I just don't buy that.

What a freaking terrible route to that ball by Jenkins. You HAVE to cut that off.

At least he's making up for his lack of fielding skills with his power stroke.

Thanks for the laugh. It probably kept me from throwing my cell phone. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
