7/19/08 Brewers (Sheets) at Giants (Sanchez): 3:05 CDT

[ELCABALLO45]

Congrats on number 100 big guy

[crewcrazy]

#100 for Prince

He certainly did it in style, didn't he? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Only the second splash hit this season -- Lance Berkman was the first.

[Jim Goulart]

Fielder's bomb now available on Gameday along with Jim Powell's call

[bucks2281]

Is that 15 consecutive games that the Brewers have homered?

[BrewCityUnit]

Let VIlly hit here....he should be pitching the 8th

[B2k1121]

I would also rather see Villy hit here.

[Sheets4theHOF]

So Gagne in the 8th then? With Riske warming just in case?

[markedman5]

I sure hope its not Gagne. I'll take my chances with Riske.

This is where I really differ from Yost. I let Carlos pitch another inning. Its almost likes he wants to save CV so he can use him tomorrow. With TL going on Sunday I do everything i can to win today and worry about tomorrow.....tomorrow.

[MadisonBrewerBlue]

here we go...the mine field inning

[Jim Goulart]

Cardinals win, building up overconfidence for the big upcoming series.

[Sheets4theHOF]

according to gameday riske really got squeezed that AB against lewis.

[MadisonBrewerBlue]

nice to see riske throwing strikes as he strikes out the side. is he the new 8th inning guy ?

[Trowekamp]

Well I guess Yost got it right by bringing in Riske who says "The 8th is my inning!"

[ELCABALLO45]

Riske strikes out the side

[JJHardy7]

How fast was he throwing? Anyone know? Nice job by Riske.

[RU Rah Rah]

Hurrah, no Gagne!

[Jim Goulart]

How fast was he throwing? Anyone know? Nice job by Riske.

Everything but one pitch (87) was 88-91.

[Marc Newfield of Dreams]

Insurance. Always good to have.

That a kid, Prince.

[crewcrazy]

Braun triples, Fielder hits him in. I like it when both of those guys are hitting well.

[olsonnet]

Riske has been pitching pretty well since his buddy CC was signed.

Nice triple by Brauny and a hit by Prince to drive him in. Keep it going.

[MadisonBrewerBlue]

nice to get some insurance there triple by braun and rbi by fielder.

[Sheets4theHOF]

braun and fielder swing a hot bat at the same time could result into all kinds of awesomeness.

[Trowekamp]

Brewers are on an extra base hit roll the last 7 - 10 games.. seeing a single is getting to be rare.

[Trowekamp]

come on billy everyone else already has a hit.

[Sheets4theHOF]

bill hall the only starter without a hit in a ben sheets started game. show me you have some pride billy.
