Good thing the bullpen is rested, Sheeter is going tonight.

Dear Ben,

By the time you read this note, I'll be gone.

I'm leaving you so you can spend more time with April - she treated you much better than I could ever.

Sincerely,

July

Let's not get all crazy now. Sheets was lifted a couple times lately for a pinch hitter, when he had at least another inning left in him. That's what often happens to a starter if his offense isn't scoring runs.

Not really directing this at you but for all the concern people have shown with regard to Sheets lately, you'd think he has been god awful lately. He had 28 SO and 9 BB in 29 July IP. That's very good. Batters just had a .319 BA against him, which doesn't concern me nearly as much.

As long as Sheets doesn't go out there thinking he can throw 95 or 96 all game, he should be fine tonight.

I have a good feeling about this one. Sheets is due for a good one tonight. BTW, has anybody else been having trouble getting onto the site the last couple of days? I don't think it's my computer because I don't have trouble with any other websites.

Yeah wibadgers23, I have to sneak in through the backdoor (Lambeau Leap)

Just got a call from my ex(?) stepbrother with free tix! Can we see Russell blast a monster shot Ned, please.

Last time Redding pitched against the Crew (late May in DC). The Muscle started that game and went 2 for 3 against Redding with a single and a double. The one out was a deep fly to center that he just missed. Hopefully, he gets the start?

I get the sneaking suspicion that if Branyan actually does get the start, Ned will bench Hardy or Weeks just to keep Counsell's gritty ABs in the lineup, even though Weeks has been good lately and Hardy had a pretty good game last night. I'm still waiting for Ned to give Prince a day off so Counsell can play first and hit cleanup.

That should always be the lineup when a RHP is on the mound.

Phew, I'm glad to see Robin19 checked in - although I was preparing to provide a backup haiku.

Keep up the good work, Brewers.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
