We'll have some solid Brewer support out at Chavez Ravine today. The local Badger alumni club will have a group of 150ish sitting out by the Brewer bullpen. I finally made it back from an ill timed vacation a day early so I can get out there tomorrow as well!!! I'll be there in the old powder blue Yount jersey near the Brewer dugout. GO BREWERS!!!

Have fun, SoCal and contingent!

I'd really like to see August/September Soup today. Why not try for a 4-2 road trip?

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Looks like a tall order today with the young phenom coming on and Suppan overdue to get shellacked. But this team has been remarkably resilient so I won't count him out. Boy it would be big to get out of this trip 4-2, they are all big now but with the Cards coming on the Crew needs to keep rolling and a win today would give them momentum going home.

Braun will be there with bells on.

The question is will Hardy be there? Or will Craig.C play short as Billy Hall makes a rare appearance at 3rd? And what about Rickie? Only time will tell...

I doubt Counsell is in there against a lefty.

My lineup prediction

Weeks

Hardy

Braun

Fielder

Hart

Hall

Cameron

Rivera!

Suppan

Basically the 35 next to Milwaukee means that any combination of Brewers losses and Cubs wins equaling 35 will make the Brewers unable to win the division.

They still have not released the line ups yet, Ned and Joe must be still at Starbucks enjoying a cup.

I believe Torre is all about the wheat grass now!

MLB has nothing to do with scheduling the Sunday night games, ESPN gets to pick what game they want. Why they'd pick Phillies/Padres is beyond me, but blame them.

Well, both teams were in the playoffs last year, so that may have something to do with it. (Well, a 1 game playoff for SD).

ON a completely unrelated front, should we start a pool as to when Mike Rivera gets another start?
