We really need to end this inning Jorge has thrown a LOT of pitches this inning. I just hope we don't leave him in too long again.

This is a pretty pathetic way to respond to unexpected (but welcome!) run support.

JDLR needs to learn how to pitch from ahead in the count consistently. He has the killer instinct of a poodle.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Four pitch leadoff walks followed by a wild pitch are always cool....

C'mon Jorge we can't afford to let these guys come back.

And this outing is a pretty good indicator of what is so obscenely frustrating about DLR.

EDIT: Looks like the split fingernail is part of the problem.

Nothing like walking the bases loaded to give a team a free shot at getting back in the game.

I remember several days ago, Jorge walked someone to load the bases, and Winklesas was brought in...anybody remember what happened?

I probably shouldn't have said that.

Now if Winklesas gives up a HR are we going to slam him even though the 3 guys on base have nothing to do with him.

I think it's looking bad for this inning and predict a fire Winky thread in a matter of minutes.

Since that was my 666th post, I'm not feeling lucky....and I wrote that post w/o reading the previous 2 that referenced the Grand Salami.

I won't slam him for the three baserunners that weren't his fault, but sure I'd slam him for coming in and giving up yet another first AB homerun.

You know, if the manager and the trainer visit the mound and the guy has blood on his pants and is bleeding from a finger on his pitching hand, why in the world do you keep him in for another hitter?

Huge K there!

Now if he gives up a HR to this guy, I think I'd have to puke up my dinner.

I think it's clear that JDLR is a reliever. Solid through 3 and nothing after that.

So are people ignoring the fact that he's hurt?

He was solid through five the last time out...

Because Ned Yost finds trouble when he least expects it.

David Eckstein heart and souls that one into center field to bring home a run. Thank goodness Yadier Molina was on third, because only a Molina fails to score on Brady Clark. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Good point. Bloody pitching hands are usually a good time to find a new pitcher.
