The magic number shrinks!

We are in a battle of ineptitude with the Padres. This is just sad.
Reminds me of the South Park episode where they were trying to lose on purpose and kept winning.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

That's one of the all-time great episodes. I love the Rocky scene with Randy when he's "in training", and he cracks open the raw eggs into a glass... and then he pours them into a pan and starts making an omlette (and cracks open a beer).

Did I miss something get thrown at Davey Nelson and Craig Crushan , again? They should put a net up around them again like the Cubs series.

Oh, and by the way, this is our second consecutive non-losing season!!

Yeah no kidding... Davey's reaction was pretty funny, but that's not really a funny thing. But yeah, I definitely chuckled when Davey said "Whoa!" then slowly looked up nervously/angrily.

Frankly, I blame this month on the minor leaguers that were called up. Hmm...doing great without them and slumping with them? Hmmm....

I was typing a request for a FalkenBalk when JJ hit the winner.
I'm sorry, but aren't walk-off balks called "Stanton's"?

Holy cow Ned is stupid.

It isn't fair to bring in a relief pitcher with guys on base, especially if they are your ace starting pitchers runners?

He just said in a 1 run game you have no margin for error, yet he just defended putting in Gagné by saying he would have made CC finish the 8th because he didn't want some other guy giving up CC's runs if people were on base. The stupidity in that statement is mind-blowing and laughable.

I still remember that game like it was last night.

He appears to be sending the message to the team yet again that CC's Cy Young/MVP hopes are more important than making the playoffs. The MLB just missed out on a nice 10-0 right there.
