Too bad he couldn't do the same for the signings of David Riske and Eric Gagne.

We get to choose in the flips for teams with worse winning percentages, which is everybody but the Cubs.

Is it possible to screw up a coin toss?
Just ask any Bears fan. Coin flip for the #1 draft pick following joint 1-13 campaigns in 1969. Ed McCaskey (late husband of current owner Virginia) called Heads - the flip came up Tails and the Steelers took Tery Bradshaw. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif As they say ... the rest is history.

BTW the Bears always call tails on coin flips now.

HEADS! I heard the head side is more heavy.
Just curious, but if the "heads" side is heavier then wouldn't it land face down, thus making tails the winner? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

We have a 50/50 chance of winning!! I like those odds

but BP only has us at 30% odds of winning the flip.

Or at least 49.999% - At a softball tournament this summer, we had one land in a soft spot and actually stand up on edge

Tails never fails.
Bingo. Or as they said back in the 1870s when deciding this: Ye Tail Shall not Thee Fail"

Maybe the players should start booing the fans!!!

BOOOOOOOO...any of you that voted Tails...BOOOOOO!!!

The Brewers got Fans-ted.

You beat me to it. I was ready to start booing.

And it is now safe to blame the fans. We lost every coin flip we called.

But the team would rather play elsewhere, so don't we win by losing?

Exactly. Game 163 in Philadelphia should be an automatic win.
