I don't think that's the primary reason. That is Good Friday, and the Tigers are the only home team playing a game before 3 PM local time.

11-11 and I'd be thrilled with that record after a tough first month. Having opening day as an off day really hurts. None of the guys want that day off and it doesn't allow them to rest when they need it. Anything better than a .500 month would be awesome.
