Green has a 1.18 WHIP and doesn't turn 25 until August. No way I'm replacing him for a guy with a 7.88 ERA in 3 AAA starts who's a year and a half older. The link has his stats wrong. He was 1-1 with a 4.11 ERA in AA before going to AAA where's he's posted the 7.88 ERA. I'd hang on to Wright too for a bit longer.

 

Green's been a great under the radar pickup IMO.

Once Corporan is off the 25 man, he can be removed from the 40 to clear a spot. Not sure if they'll use it on Hacker, but some team will have to take a kid off with a future at some point, so it's good to have a spot open. I don't think Green would even be in the bottom 2-3.

 

Also, they might have to make a decision on Chris Smith soon, as he may well have an out if he's not on the 40. Many quality pitchers are able to get that even with a minor league deal.
