Check this device out, its on an entirely new operating system developed by Palm. It won't wipe out the IPhone but the navigation and some other nice features make it a superior device for the same price. If you're a business and your interested drop me a PM. I believe the OS is actually linux, but thats a big plus IMO.

 

I had service from Sprint once before and always hated them, but to be honest I can't really remember why I hated them. One of my coworkers just got a Pre, so I'll let him be the guinea pig.

For now. Verizon is rumored to be getting it pre-holidays this year; but Sprint says otherwise. We'll see.

I'd be a lot more interested in smart-phones (including the Pre) if they didn't require me to double my monthly phone bill. I just don't have enough legitimate reasons to browse the web at all times in order to justify that added expense. If carrying around an iPod Touch (which has only one app, and I've never even used that) in addition to my cell-phone makes me a luddite, then so be it.

I would not pay for internet access on my smartphone, I use it for work so company pays. Amazing how quickly this technology changes, I have a Motorola Q and it seems like I may as well have an old bag phone compared to what's out today, and coming soon.

I have a Moto Q9c and really like it. I guess I like Windows Mobile better than Blackberry, for whatever reason. I also like the keypad better. It's a business expense for me, as I have to have fairly regular e-mail access, and the web browsing capability is a huge bonus. I think if I didn't have a smart phone now I'd go nuts.
