Hopefully they saved some runs for tonight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

It'd be nice to see Yo work at least 7 crisp innings tonight after the beating everyone seemed to take last night. It'll be interesting to see what happens if the Brewers find themselves in a save situation again...do they turn to Villa to close it out?

I don't have a problem with Hall in the 2 hole. I am not really enthusiastic about McGehee leading off with Hardy in the 7 hole though.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

My goodness, is Sowers undressing in that picture? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif May he feel the need to do so again tonight.

Don't let up, Brewers, and please, have Yo's back.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Considering last night was Major League quotes night, and this is the second game of the series, I think it should be Major League 2 quotes night for this game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif This one reminded me of Cleveland's bullpen last night:

Rube Baker: Wow, Willie's really got some power.

Lou Brown: Off a guy who'll be bagging groceries in a couple of weeks!

not trying to be funny but bill hall has to be a mental midget. How can he not realize that his approach at the plate has stunk for 2 plus years, yet he refuses to change it.

Hall plays because he is good in the field and that is all. That was a tough play if that is why you are asking. He isnt the one that walked the bases loaded.

It wasn't a tough play at all. The ball was hit right to him. If he wouldn't have bobbled it, it would have been an easy double play.

Especially considering it was Hafner running.

Wouldn't even had been an issue if Gallardo didn't suffer from Manny Parra syndrome after giving up th HR! No excuse for all the walks...

What does one have to do with another? If Bill Hall who is virtually useless with a bat in his hand picked up the rolling ball that was hit right to him and through it to second base without bobbling it, it's a double play. Can't that idea stand on it's own?

Gallardo seems to be having these kind of starts quite a bit...a lot of pitches, guys all over the bases, but not too many runs. His last start I think he was at or over 50 pitches in the first two innings and tonight he is over 60.
