The New Yorkers should be playing with an extra focus after a closed-door meeting last night in which manager Jerry Manuel demanded that everyone take the team bus from the Pfister Hotel to the ballpark. That's bad news for Milwaukee's taxi drivers.Typically, players, particularly the starting position players, arrive much earlier via cab.

 

Manuel said yetserday that he planned to rest David Wright and Gary Sheffield in the series finale, but he apparently changed his mind about Wright. Here are the lineups:

I really hope this doesn't end up being a hard luck loss for Yo...Church barely hit that one, and it looked like the kind of grounder a guy like Weeks could've kept in the infield. Hopefully Yo can keep it at 1-0 here and they can eventually get a couple guys across against Pelfrey or that Mets pen.
