Fielder needs one RBI to pull back to even with Howard for the MLB lead.....
I can think of a good scenario for his getting that RBI. It'd help if Ryan would get on base.

I agree 100%... Give price the $$$!!! I don't care if we go into a slight rebuild until the young pitching arrives. Trade the rest of the arby players to save the $$$ and give it to Prince!

 

What would you rather have?

 

Prince for just 2 more years or:

Prince long term (with Braun) and McGehee at 2B in place of Weeks, Escobar at SS in place of Hardy, Gerut in CF in place of Cameron, Lucroy at C in place of Kendall, Naverson in place of Bush (or Looper)... Heck maybe Adam Heether can learn to play RF in place of Hart and leave Gamel at 3B (or vice versa)...

I dont mind that lineup.....its not like its a big downgrade from anything we have had in the past. And its young. I like it!
And it would save about 30mil that could be used towards signing Prince and Yo long term!

Extra baseball on the last day. Well maybe we can get Prince around to add to the RBI total, and he only needs one more hit to officially pass .300 as a hitter. Right now he is stuck at .2994 according to the TV guys

Too me, that last double-play attempt is why there is no need to try and re-sign Felipe Lopez. I think his goal on that last play was to not get hurt. That his why he ran through the bag instead of hanging in there. It cost him a lot on the throw and may have cost the Brewers the double play. I know that I am biased against Felipe, I think that he is a me-first player. I feel that was another example of it. He wasn't going to risk a need injury and cost himself some money even if it meant a Brewer victory.

Watching how we are pitching/setting up to pitch this game, I feel like Macha feels bad for going for the sweep....anyone else?

 

I was surprised they had Escobar steal now.....they could have stolen second and let Kendall (its wishful thinking I know) swing away

 

And I agree that Lopez needs to go. He is selfish. He could be a great player if he actually went 100% for a whole season!
