What's NOT bugging you? (2007 – 2013)

Other than not having easily-accessible direct paths to files (e.g., just being able to easily open

Then how do you open something?

Al, maybe one of the antennas is going out on your router. If you call tech support, the gurus might be able to test for that over the phone.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

We've had trouble with our wireless for the past 30-60 days, I wonder if this is related.
Are you having this issue with a windows 7 laptop using wireless? My issue seems to be that I am still connected to my router, but don't have internet access. Router is working fine, because I can still connect and have internet access with other devices but for some reason I have to constantly reset my router for the new win7 laptop to gain internet access.
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though

I sure ran the gauntlet of emotions last night during the final 15 minutes of the BCS game.

I went from, "YES!" to "NO!" to "crud" to "this blows" to "YES" to "WHY THE HECK ARE YOU FALLING DOWN? GO FOR A SCORE YOU NINCOMPOOP!" to "there's no way this wins because they're just going to do kneeldowns" to "OMG, they're actually running plays. Maybe I have a chance" to "Holy Mother of Fruitcakes, they're at the 2 yard line!" to "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!"

If you watched the game, you can probably follow along with this and know exactly what moments of the game I'm referring to.

Long story short: Alabama covered my 15 1/2 points on my reverse teaser card (along with Boise State and Florida) and I'm sitting on a cool $87.50 (from a $5.00 bet.) Yeah, it's not a lot of green, but I'll take what I can get.

A little self indulgence here. . .After a very nice Christmas and New Year vacation back home in SE Wisconsin, we were treated to a hearty snowfall, but no problems getting to the airport, no significant delays getting off the ground, and a fairly quick layover in Newark as we head back to equatorial Singapore for another stretch of 5-6 months.

And to cap it off, my youngest sister had a healthy baby girl today. . .

Life is good!

Best wishes, Wisconsin. . .see you again soon.

Holy Mother of Fruitcakes?

That's right up there with Peavey's use of "Sweet merciful crap!"

The morning show on WIBA radio in Madison has news/traffic/weather/sports in kind of a loop. The sports segment is preceded by a sound clip from one event or another. Today it was "SWING AND A DRIVE! LEFT CENTER AND DEEP! GET UP, GET OUTTA HERE, GONE! FOR RYAN BRAUN! AND THEY'VE GOT THE LEAD!"

It made me feel like the corner to spring is being turned.

(edit to get my left and right straight)

Another sign of spring: my first sighting of a BP station displaying "Free Brewers Tickets" signage (University Avenue, just east of Middleton).

The signs were sticking out of large snowbanks, but still.

TCM's "31 Days of Oscar". One of the best months of programming of any cable channel of the year. And probably the best case that the Academy Awards actually do have merit.

I just won 2 tickets to see the Sound Opinions radio show at the Pabst in Milwaukee next Friday. Nerdy and awesome. They're the only type of talk radio I'll ever listen to.
