For the first time in a long time for the Brewers this seems like a big-time major league baseball game. Two top-flight pitchers both on thier games will do that.

Edit: Either BA read this, or we're thinking alike.

Kottaras is a left-handed batter, with a lefty on the mound. Lucroy is a right-handed hitter, right? Seems like a rough match up for Kottaras, but what do I know.

Lefties hit better off of Santana in his career because his changeup runs right into the sweet spot for most lefties.

I want Kottaras to get on so Yo doesn't have to lead off next inning. I'm afraid they'll PH for him if he does.
With Randy Wolf.

Wow, what a great game! he has thrown a fastball for a called strike three at least three times tonight. Hitters have no idea what is coming right now

Who knew Bill Hall could pitch? We should have kept him...

Update: he is throwing 88-89 mph, pitching the 9th for the Red Sox. He actually looks really good doing it! 3 up, 3 down... All ground outs.

Is this Yo's best start?
This year? For sure. 8 innings only 100 pitches, 5 K's and ZERO BBs. That is fantastic.

I was thinking best career start. I'm posting from my phone so I can't look it up.

This is a great game to watch.

And seriously, Bill Hall looked pretty good in the 9th inning on the mound. 89 mph? Can we pick him up for the bullpen?
