Wolf, didn't pitch that bad tonight.

He didn't pitch well either.

Now that is the Suppan we love to hate. Suppan era is up to 7.63. lets face it the brewers will not cut him at all this year. Edited by ilovebeer

Yeah, I can't get too down on Wolf's start, either. He was an out away from leaving with 7 IP, 4 ER, which would've been enough to keep the team in the game if Adam Wainwright wasn't spinning a gem right now. Short of matching Wainwright pitch for pitch, there wasn't much Wolf could've done, and considering the slew of extremely short starts lately, I'll take it.

Ringing endorsement of this team right now? Not really, but it's not like Wolf is Suppan-bad out there.

wow....Suppan has hit 91 and 92 this inning! I don't know if he's seen that velocity since the Clinton administration

Suppan just has to be gone soon.

As far as Wolf not pitching badly. 6.2 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 4 BB, 4 K, 1 HR. That's not very good at all.

I think we've set the bar pretty low when 5 ER in any amount of IP isn't considered bad... between Milwaukee and T-Rats I'm not participating in much winning baseball this season.

I can imagine others of the current Brewers' pitching staff returning to form, or at least improving on 2010, on other teams. But I can't imagine that with Jeff.

And the next two games are nationally televised. /tempted to sob/
