I've got plenty of friends who are Mets fans, and they'd take this deal in a heartbeat. They don't even really care what they get in return, they just want Perez and Frenchy out of town.

 

For whatever reason, Jeff Francoeur playing for Ned Yost seems like it was just meant to be. He's already got the folksy nickname that ends with a -y and it seems like they'd have a lot of fun hunting in Georgia in the offseason or something.

I am a fan of Meche in a junk for junk trade. I know he's hurt now, but he "could" be better than what a lot of teams trot out there as even a 3 or 4 starter.

Dayton Moore has an incredible appetite for players he was associated with during his years with the Braves....unfortunately for the Royals they all stink
