Congratulations and good luck to Mark tonight! Have fun. I'll be shamelessly checking my iPod for game updates while ostensibly paying attention to the UW vs. Ohio State volleyball match.

McCalvy tweeted Rogers will likely throw about 60 pitches and be backed by Jeffress. I'd imagine we'll see Villanueva, McNewGuy, and possibly even Hoffman as well.

How is Loe going to get his nightly 2 innings in if all of those guys pitch?

crewcrazy, I was almost tempted to edit my post to say "... and probably Loe, too." haha.

Why did Rogers have to choose 37? Seeing a Brewer in #37 almost sent a chill down my spine, LOL.

Nice to see Rogers protecting the Brewers hitters early by plunking a batter. LOL.

Nice job, Mark. Way to work out of the mess.

It is clear Rogers has great stuff, just got to command it. I'm sure he was a little too amped/nervous during that 1st inning. It's too bad because if he doesn't have that 30 pitch 1st he could have gone 4 easy and maybe 5. I hope in his start next week they let him go 80 pitches at least.

No, see, the beautiful thing about Rogers wearing 37 is that when I see the route 37 bus in Madison, I don't have to groan to myself while thinking, "Suppan bus http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif" anymore. I just realized this this morning and it made me rather happy.

Edit: There's Kameron Loe. And you guys were worried he wouldn't pitch! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Oh noes, it's Big Wes Helms (or as Uecker just said, "The Caveman"). He's in for Burke Badenhop, which is a heck of a name.

Edit: Way to finish off the game, Wes. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Cory Provus is interviewing Mark in the post-game. Mark's first sentence: "It was fun, man." Awesome. I told him to have fun! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

they kept talking about Jeffress topping out at 97, but there was about an 8-pitch stretch where every pitch was between 97 and 99
