Sporcle trivia site has been unveiling Friday quizzes testing people on 20 odd years of opening day lineups. They finally did the Brewers. Brings back some memories! Not all good.

Yikes. . .135. I could have sworn that I typed a few of those names in there, but maybe they were misspelled. . .

I was in the low 90's. There were several I could picture but couldn't remember their names like Spivey, Moehler and a few others. I completely missed Shiffield, Cirillo, Seitzer and the guys around those years. I had complete lineups for the last few years(other than TGJ, duh) and a big black hole from '95-'98. Would have been '94-'99 but I remembered Cal Eldred. I admit there were a few years I only gave the Brewers a token following. Almost completely stopped following them after high school until the 2004 season. They were not on TV regularly until I got cable and I didn't buy newspapers.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I got 149, though I only missed 5 names post 1997. It was the early years when I was a kid and didn't really follow the team where I got killed. I can't believe I forgot about Hammonds, though.

only 109, but I'm tired and I quit with about 6 minutes to go.

You look through those lineups and you can easily see why the Brewers sucked for so long. There are AAA lineups today that are better than some of those.

159, but I have age on my side. I did pretty well up to about 2000 missing only a handful, then I missed a bunch over the next 5 years, and then hit most of the past 5 years. I don't know how I forgot about Loretta, Overbay, and Lee.... that said, I'm glad that I have been able to block Jose K. from my memory. The Dean Taylor teams were truly brutal.

139, with many blanks at the opening day starting pitcher through the 90s, with the exception of Cal Eldred and Chris Bosio. No recollection of Rafael Roque.

I got to 160, but I totally forgot about Tyler Houston, Jeffrey Hammonds, Knutson, EY, Mays, etc. I couldn't remember the name Dave Parker for the life of me.

I barely broke 100, but I got Mark Knudson...which was the toughest according to the survey.

I missed Jenkins...which is sad, because I named my Dog after him.

I got 136, would have done a lot better if I remembered Jaha and Vina. Glad that I have put behind the memories of Alex Sanchez. I would have never have guessed Dicki Thon or Derrick May even if I had 24 hours.
